Food was delicious also, loved the richness of my starter, main and desert. It was so lovely to meet the owner too she was absolutely amazing and welcoming despite her hard work and business. Had a mixture of steak pie, burger and fish and chips. An amazing pub to visit. Shout out to the chefs Dana and Mihai. Food came out pipping hot and fresh. Defo worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“This sort of coffee shop would not have existed in East Barnet Village (EBV) just 15 years ago. Things are changing, and for the better. Such a nice place to come and read, or talk with friends, or bring your laptop and do some work. The coffee is delicious (served at drinking temperature) and they have a girl who can draw anything on the top of it. A drosophila, a seal, a polar bear, a snowman, or a seahorse, a mouse, a house, even the big ball of hydrogen in the sky (the Sun), you name it, she can draw it. EBV is on the up. The only thing holding back businesses is the awful road - the road detracts from the experience of doing anything in the village. With time, this problem shall be solved. Elite cafe. Well worth a visit.”

“I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service in this restaurant. It is very cosy in the front, but it extends to the back and even has a beautiful garden that will be lovely in the Summer. It is great for a date night or if gathering with friends. Food was very tasty and the dessert was very delicious. I had salmon fillet and tiramisu. House wine was very good too. Highly recommend it and definitely will be back.”

“Popped into in today and shared a bowl of nachos with my wife, absolutely the best nachos I think I’ve ever had. We opted for pulled pork and guacamole. All the ingredients were fresh and vibrant. Will 100% be back to sample more from this menu. Apologies for not taking a photo before we ate it but I didn’t think it was going to be so good so hopefully the picture still shows how great it was.”

“I’ve lived around the corner from The Boulevard for 20 years, and that’s exactly how long I’ve been coming here. What first appears like a private club behind frosted glass, actually becomes a mid size restaurant, private dining room and bar recently refurbished. Step inside for a proper Indian menu, not some westernised pretend curry house, many of the dishes you may not have seen before. It’s a great menu, the chefs and staff have been here years and they certainly know what they’re doing. And it’s great for Sky Sports too, what’s not to like?!”

“Me and my husband are very pleased to see the queens reopened.we have recently visited on a number of occasions over the past couple of weeks.each time we have been warmly welcomed and well looked after by all the staff we have met especially faith and Nathan who both seem very passionate about making the pub a success and care about the customer's experience and opinions.we had fish and chips on Friday, which was not only great value as it came with a drink for £13:95 but was also delicious. “I have been to Middeys on several occasions and they offer a wide-range of excellent halal dishes. The drinks are also superb - I love the lychee bubbles - and the service is fantastic place. It is very popular but have gone several times without needing to book.”
