“I’ve been living in Hanwell with my family for more than 5 years. Before I never used to go into this shop but now I pop in every week to buy whether it’s fruits, vegetables, bakery or snacks. The fruits and veggies are fresh, have a a cheaper price too. The plums and strawberries are my favourites. Also, the shop is clean and looked well after!! The new owners are so friendly and are happy to help ☺️”

“Great Little Irish Pub, best Gunniess in Greenford by far, great for the criac, live music on the weekend. Made to feel at home straight away. Trad session on Mondays, Karaoke on firdays, definitely worth a visit if your near the area.”

“Me & my partner stayed here last night as she had an operation & needed to recover before travelling. The staff, especially Andrew the manager, were friendly, accommodating & couldn't do enough for us. This included a free upgrade to a A/C room on the ground floor to reduce noise disturbance, excessive movement & increased comfort. Bed was comfortable, modern shower room & soft lighting made it a pleasant stay, we even were graced with free coffees before we left. Definitely a top pick for an extremely competitive price with great hospitality, will certainly stay again if needed! Thank you!”

“One of my all time go to for comfort food. Not only is the food here great but the portions are very generous too. I’ve only ever ordered via Deliveroo or Ubereats but I’ve had good quality food always enjoyed by myself and family. Also great for ordering for last minute visitors. “I've just had the chance to try one of the feta cheese "rogche" and I was actually quite surprised that it was way more delicious than the one I last tried back home. Very friendly and charming girls at the till, that make you feel like home atmosphere. The coffee tastes very delicious too and can highly recommend anyone to try the variety of all the delicious treats they have. Thank you, will definitely visit again. “Very popular among the locals and a constant stream of delivery drivers is a good sign. A burger menu and a traditional breakfast menu leaves you spoiled for chouce. Definitely worth a go if your a burger fan! Very accommodating to requests. Great for the kids too. Lovely family run cafe. Good value and big portions. Great service. Very clean too! Will be back.”

“This pub was once the place to come in Greenford. Lovely premises with enormous back garden and like a local pub is supposed to be as everybody knew everyone and newbies were welcomed and loved it. Due to later recent management, many of the locals left as it became the place NOT to be.....(we all miss you James). Like many others, I left for pastures new and found new pubs as the atmosphere was toxic at times. Popped in here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to find this lovely pub almost empty which shocked and saddened me. The pub and the people here now are like it was way back then, friendly and welcoming however...... I know from talking to the people I know that the prices are a BIG problem..... For my particular tipple (Guinness) I can pay far,far less for a pint. This isn't central London, this is Greenford. Rumours about the owners wanting it to die and sell the land are a common theme. Marston, this place is a moneypot with some decent support. Stop the silly "offers" bull , lower your prices and bring this place up!”

“Thought we’d try the Halloween event with the kids. Great, friendly service as always with a yummy selection of food, drinks and cocktails. Very family friendly and had lots of decorations and sweets for the kids and free food if they were in fancy dress. Karaoke was set up too, as we were leaving, but the kids managed a quick Huntr/X rendition before we left. We’ll be back again soon :)”

Plenty of seating, calm atmosphere… just a great spot to take a breather. If you’re after a reliably good coffee stop with friendly service, this Costa absolutely hits the mark.
