“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

The Lahmacun was thin and filled with toppings. Everything here was really enjoyable and it’s the perfect spot if you need a Turkish and wanna go with the family.”

“Extremely disappointed with this place. I chose this place based on the good reviews, but everything arrived stone cold. The chips were stale and tasted as if they’d been fried in old oil. The shawarma wraps were also a huge let down, the sauces were so tangy and overpowering that they completely ruined the flavour. Honestly the worst shawarma I’ve ever had. I spent £41 and couldn’t enjoy any part of the meal. Definitely won’t be ordering again. Save your £ don't bother.”

“Had a nice meal here for my Aunts birthday. It was quite busy but not noisy. The fixed price lunch menu was good value. The a la carte looked a bit pricey! I had the ribs my aunt had the salmon. We were served by the delightful Alissa and really enjoyed the food and the ambience. Recommended.”

The moment you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing smell of freshly grilled patties, and the atmosphere is warm, casual, and inviting. I tried their signature burger, and it was perfect—juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right with fresh toppings. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the sauce added that extra kick without overpowering the meat. “Just had a cup of tea, very authentic Turkish tea. They made it fresh, which was nice; we had time to wait 20-30mins for it to brew. It came in a tall glass so was a nice big cup of tea.”

Man the food was incredible the vegetarian hotdog is to die for and the pizza was moist thick and lovely. In fact we even got a burger for free but don't expect it everytime. “We just celebrated my son's 18th Bday here. We been living in this neighbourhood for over a decade and we never visited the pub as it had a bad reputation but since new management took over and the pub been refurbished it looks truly amazing. Great food menu. Great affordable variety of drinks. The service is impeccable and very friendly staff. My husband is a wheelchair user, the pub has wheelchair access but you got to put the foldable ramp down yourself what didn't bother us as we do that daily at home anyway. Overall a 5* pub very clean and tidy... And they do karaoke on Thursdays aswell. A place I highly recommend.”
