“My Son has been attending this nursery since May 2023. It’s such a daunting time when your little one starts nursery and I was anxious for sure to leave him at a nursery setting. The staff were really helpful, in particular Laura and Nasreen when I started the paperwork. When my Son went into his designated room he was given a key worker and she is just truly fantastic. We love her. Huge shout out to Oduffa for being his key person. His development is so great and I know she has really encouraged his speaking etc. Everyone in the room that he is in has been exceptional (Jess, Eulalee, Sarah, Pauline). I feel happy knowing Jasper is there for the day and that he is well looked after by everyone. He loves it here. The outside space is a HUGE plus! They are also great at updating the app throughout the day so I can see how he is getting on and photos of him playing are so nice to see. Thank you everyone for your care and kindness. Highly recommend this nursery to other parents.”

“We enrolled our infant in backup care here for 3 days while on a business trip. All the caregivers are warm, attentive, communicative, and showed real joy for their children. We particularly enjoyed that our child had outdoor time twice each day (weather permitting) and access to lots of toys, books, and four meals daily. Thank you Shailene, Habiba, and team!”

“My son attended the Child Development Centre after we had exhausted all other avenues through the NHS and essentially got nowhere. I am not disparaging the NHS, I think they are marvellous but they do not have the time or resources to fully help our children the way they need help in these circumstances. We had the Centre recommended to us and it has really changed our lives. The relief that someone was finally making sense of our son's behaviour and difficulties that he was having was immense. He would jump and scream at unexpected noises, he would hate any labels in clothes, he would zoom around the house causing mayhem (not deliberately, quite the opposite he was very happy), but we did fear he had ADHD. He was like Tigger from Winnie the Poo, bouncing around everywhere! His concentration was very poor, he was very silly and immature for his age, he wasn't able to sit and watch a DVD, read a book or play with one toy or game for any period of time, he would get bored very easily and be off to play with another toy or game. From a very young age he would have obsessions - firstly the Fire Service and he would not anywhere unless in a full fireman's uniform with a utility belt, he was 4 yrs old at this stage and then it changed to the Police (5yrs old) and then the Army (8yrs old) with each obsession taking over all of our lives in one way or another. One fact we did find interesting was that Dyspraxia often gets misdiagnosed as ADHD. He was diagnosed as having Dyspraxia traits and audio dyslexia. We received a very detailed report which made so much sense in terms of why he was behaving the way he was, but more importantly we started the programme that would definitely change all of our lives for the better. The programme is not a quick fix solution. You need to be dedicated and understand there will be times when it is frustrating and it seems you are making no progress then other times when it accelerate and the changes are amazing. Most people comment that he is like a different boy now and he really is. Once we were able to get rid of the reflexes he had retained the changes became really noticeable. He is so much calmer now, he can concentrate - he reads so many books now which we are delighted at! The screaming when he's startled has stopped and he's even more tolerant to labels! In the beginning we did the on-line checklist on the website and ticked far too many! However, I would highly recommend doing this as it give you a really good idea on whether there is a problem there that needs solving. My husband and I had the conversation about the cost of the treatment and I remember him saying 'this could be the best money we've ever spent' and he was absolutely right, it was. I would highly recommend going for an initial assessment to find out all about it. We originally met David and then Alex continued all of the appointments and treatments with our son. He is excellent with children, very professional with a firm but easy-going manner. If you decide to do it, follow all of the instructions, they really do know what they are talking about and you will get better results by following them to the letter. The programmes are medication free which I loved, this is a totally natural way to help your child be the best they can be!”

“Our daughter has been a member of the nursery since it opened. Every day that she attends she comes home well fed and exhausted, her speech and appreciation of other children, (she is an only child), has come on tenfold and she has such an amazing time when she is there. The staff are so lovely and they really care about her, taking time to welcome her every morning to the point where she forgets to give Mummy a kiss goodbye. I couldn't recommend them more.”

“A massive thank you to all the brilliant staff who have helped in my sons learning development and achievements. A special thank you to Nosh the owner of the nursery who has shown dedication and commitment in setting a good standard of practice in the overall welfare, safeguarding and the warmth of the children in nursery. The rooms are planned out well and kept clean given the space available. Resources are plenty and children are always kept engaged and stimulated. “My husband and I went to visit this school a few weeks back and we were blown away with it’s pastoral care, academics and warmth. It really is a second home. “Both my children have attended MMI and I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. My son joined at 2 when we moved to the area and stayed until he started in reception. He can be a little anxious in new settings but in no time, MMI became like a second home for him and he couldn’t wait to go every day. The Montessori setting meant that he was able to explore what interested him most, and he developed real interests and passions that have stayed with him into school. He also formed some very strong friendships that have lasted years after leaving, despite some of them going to different schools. My daughter started at 9 months old and will again stay until she starts school next year. At the gates, I barely get a kiss goodbye as she runs in to see her friends, (again she has a very close knit group that she sees socially as well) and she comes home each day with stories of the games she’s played and conversations she’s had. She is a much more fiery character than my son (hey there second child!), and can be quite stubborn and set in her ways, but all the staff have gone out of their way to try and accommodate her, especially when it comes to her fussy eating! She also had a severe dairy allergy when she started, and all the team were extremely cooperative in making sure that her needs were met to avoid flare ups, or manage them when they did. Across both my children I have seen that the staff care hugely about the children’s development, education and their sense of belonging. Mine have always felt incredibly safe there and MMI is clearly a place of fun and excitement for them. When my son first started, it was mid-Covid, and perhaps there was a little staff turnover - as all businesses had, but on the whole, many of the staff have been there for years and there is a lot of continuity for the children. They still come to say hello to my son when he’s at the gates picking my daughter up, and sometimes take him inside to find her, which he loves. Lastly, I also feel that MMI has a very fair sickness policy, much less harsh than I’ve seen at other nurseries, which means for working parents our lives aren’t too easily derailed, every time a new bug is picked up! I am so happy that I found MMI when I did, I can see that my children have both flourished there, and I’m extremely thankful to Aleks, who manages the nursery, and her wonderful team for all that they do to create such a warm and fostering environment.”
