We were leaving tenancy and embarrassingly haven't cleaned our oven for years, we also had an oven protector which seemed to have melted a bit and got stuck. Chris was able to come earlier than expected (called beforehand to check) and made the oven practically new again! And he was a lovely guy. Couldn't recommend him enough! Worth every penny!”

The salad bar is why we head there, delicious mix of salads to enjoy a healthy nutritious bowl or you can opt for the hot special of the day with salad on the side. “Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. “I found this little place almost by chance-and I just LOVED it. The food was amazing (price was also very low and portions enormous!), the perfect balance between spice and sour (I had their fermented flat bread with 3 different daals and 2 veggie sides). The owner is the sweetest person ever and it is more than clear that this is not a job for him, but a passion. The place is tiny (which is a pro-makes it cozier!) and super welcoming, with decor that makes you truly feel jumping into the Ethiopian culture! They offered me their typical spice tea: a must have! Just a very lovely experience, absolutely recommended if you love simple and authentic things.”
