“I really liked this local Turkish restaurant. Food was standard Turkish but well done. Pricing was fair. Service excellent. The reason for the 4 stars for the atmosphere was the noise level. It might just be my bad hearing, but I struggled with the conversation. I recommend this place.”

“Stumbled across this wonderful place whilst on our way to a different gastropub. Glad we ended up here instead! We went for a Sunday roast with the Haddock and chips which was well made and good value. Atmosphere was cosy, though it was fully booked on Sunday we sat in the back garden which had heaters above each table. Only criticism is that we were asked to move to a different table due to a group booking midway through our meal. But otherwise everything else was fantastic!”

We tried 5 pizzas (chorizo, beef, cheesy, margarita and anchovies) all amazing but I'm a big fan of cheese so cheesy was out of this world for me :-). “I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.”

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. “Visited this pub for lunch yesterday with a 4 day old baby - the two ladies serving were very welcoming and friendly. Table service was great from the moment we sat down and after scouring the menu, we both ordered the New Inn Burger - 5* burger in my opinion, the quality of meat and the cook was excellent. Hats off to the chef! Will definitely be returning.”

Nicole, Maddy and Izzie made us feel welcome from when we arrived, before this though, the communication with the team were very attentive and the food options and quality did not disappoint, we'll be booking our 3rd Christmas event here next year too.”

The menu options are fantastic, with options for kids and adults alike. So something for everyone - even fussy kids! I love visiting the Blackhorse, with my partner and teenage kids, and we always have a wonderful time, and have created some amazing memories there over the years. I look forward to creating many more memorable moments at the Blackhorse.”
