The staff are incredible as is the Landlady and could not have been more friendly and the locals are the same. Quite simply one of the finest public houses I have ever been to and I have certainly been to many this last 42 years or so all around the country.”

Davide was a great help and made us feel very welcome. It was a little noisy for my friend, but I felt it had a great atmosphere!! Its small and cosy - and the food and service were fantastic! “This is my go to place for authentic African food, you can tell it was made with love! The owner is EXTREMELY KIND! and welcoming which made the whole experience truly special, showing genuine care for my satisfaction. The suya was incredibly flavourful, with a perfect balance of spices, I also loved the jollof with plantain and spicy turkey bites. Be cautious with the vegetarian menu as they still include fish sauce in the currys. I highly recommend the Green or red curry, they have a good spice level and very good portion size.”
