βThis forest is just so magical. You feel how old and ancient everything is. There's a church nearby, and some of the graves are from people who were alive in the 1800s, which is really cool. I would recommend coming here if you love forests and exploring!β
βGreat service. I was looking for a digital piano upgrade and They had a good range, including most higher end models. David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I was given all the time I wanted to try with no pressure. Delivery and installation was seamless and Iβm delighted with my new Yamaha Clp-785. David also provides a great after-sales service and is happy to follow up on any technical queries, which is very useful given the huge range of functions on these pianos. Many thanks!β
βBeautiful small concert venue with fabulous acoustics.β
βThis was an absolute treat to see different beautiful ballet styles danced by pupils of the Royal ballet school. They were very well rehearsed and were a joy to watch. The venue on a lovely summer night was perfect. Well done to everyone involved for a night to remember.β
βThe team running this cafe are kind, considerate and really want to do a good job. The egg and bacon sandwich was delicious and it's the best coffee in that area. Thank you very muchβ
βA small and quaint place for locals and non-locals alike. The coffee shop is hidden and located further back from the road, you wouldn't think it was there! The service was great, when asked about a particular food on the menu we were explained what ingredients were used. The chai latte was not made correctly however but the barista quickly came to us and replaced it with a correctly made one. Overall a warm and nice atmosphere with illustrations on the wall and a lovely aroma of the food! Toilets are available, just have to walk further into the building right at the end on the right.β
βIf you want an exceptional coffee and the most delicious cakes made by lovely people, this is the place to be! Iβve worked as a barista for many years and it doesnβt get better than this. When a busy shop can deliver a perfect espresso with a smile, you know youβre in good hands. Worth every penny - our new favourite spot!β
βFirst time to SWPH elephant and impressed staff are helpful and friendly. Play: The Code set in 1950s Hollywood. The Code, Hayes Code was a code of conduct setting out moral issues could be portrayed on the screen. Nudity and homosexualty. The Code was similar to the previous censorship of plays exercised by The Lord Chamberlain in London. The cast are excellent especially John partridge and Tracey Bennett, last seen at the national theatre this year. Sadly ends very soon after a successful run. Worth seeing again if returns.β
βThis is a charming theatre that consistently puts on excellent amateur productions. The cost of a seat is a fraction of a West End alternative and the seats are much more comfortable than the majority in the West End. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I discovered this gem of a theatre over 8 years ago and have seen the majority of the shows that have been staged since then. All the shows I have seen have been good but some have been quite stunning and are a real credit to all those involved.β
βProper British pub. Old and preserved. Cute little outdoor spot with fairy lights. Short walk from Seven Sisters. Great pint selection on tap. Yet to have the food. Great spot in the sunβ
βSushi was super delicious and ingredients were so fresh. The sake I had was also amazing and went so well with the sushi. This is so far one of the best sushi places I've ever had in London. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!β
βIβm convinced Zapote is the best Mexican food youβll get in London. We went for mainly seafood and was so impressed. True to Mexican flavours often with its own twist thatβs executed really well. The sea bream aguachile was delicious, and we also LOVED the tuna tostadas. Cocktails are brilliant too.β
βHad a wonderful first time seeing a show here with my family. Staff were friendly, jugs of water and glasses available at the bar, they had tampons in their toilets which I thought was amazing- I don't think I've ever gone to a place before that provides tampons! When we got to the upper floor seats I booked, there was a handwritten note welcoming us which I thought was really thoughtful of them especially considering how busy they must be with the holiday rush! The view was great and the seats were comfy- I found I had enough leg room (I'm 6'1ft) to enjoy a 2 hour and 40 minutes show in comfort. Because of seat availability, my brother was seated away from us in a lower floor seat. He said the view and comfort was outstanding and that he felt like he was part of the show because of how close he was to the stage! I do believe that you would have a good view whichever seat you're in, from what I could tell there was no seats with restricted views. Can't wait to return to this beautiful theatre in the new year!β
βI really like this cafe. It's efficiently run by friendly people. The food is great. Good selection and well above average in quality and presentation. Extremely good value. Thursdays they do curry, definitely worth trying. If you're anywhere near Woodford Tube station try this place out, even for just a tea or coffee. I don't think you'll be sorry that you did.β
βVisited Neil at Slowboy Racing today to sort out a troublesome hesitation with the car. Neil precisely diagnosed the issue (before even seeing the car via discussions over email) and with a remap solved the issue completely. When I arrived Neil spent the time to go over the car, given that Iβd only recently purchased it and made me aware of a few small issues, looked into these for me and helped with friendly and clearly knowledgable advice. A pleasure to deal with and Iβll be taking the car to Slowboy Racing for any future works that I need doing without hesitation.β
βLovely theatre, cycle parking right outside the venue.β
βLovely passionate people who care about motorsports, so much goes on behind the scenes, oh so interesting.β
βHidden gem alert βΌοΈ This beautiful blue restaurant is an ode to Greece - the food, culture and service is reminiscent of my travels to this incredible country. We got some small share plates and they were all incredible - tzatziki, flatbread, honey halloumi and smoked pork fillet were all divine! The staff are attentive, the restaurant is ambient, the food is flavourful and the price so reasonable! Iβll definitely be coming back with more friends and for date night. Book your table and thank me later xxβ
βFantastic food, warm and attentive staff. Every item we ordered was a delight. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable and welcomed. You could tell that other diners loved this place too as there were smiles all around and lots of empty plates. This is delicious, perfectly seasoned Caribbean food made with fresh ingredients that you taste in every bite. Portions are good here too. Service was quick and everything was so well-presented. Divine rum cocktails here too. I had been seeking a local and authentic Caribbean restaurant for a while and now I will be visiting often.β
βRecently I've been hanging around north Surrey a bit more and since this I have had to look for a new garage. I thought I'd try out jammed motorcycles on a whim and I am really impressed. Every job I've called up or emailed about has never been beaten on price. I always leave with a smile, can't recommend this garage enough.β
βThis is a community theatre that often has really good plays that others don't. The casts are excellent but sometimes the 'set' steals the spotlight, they are really good. If you want a night out and still get a cup of tea and a biscuit, or a pint of beer, plus entertainment it all at the Abbey Theatre.β
βCosy coffee shop with delicious coffee and lovely staff. Only been here twice so far, but both times the service was great and the coffee was consistently good. I will be back :)β
βStaff were welcoming and friendly. Creative space .β
βSmall beautiful theatre, excellent acoustics. It's so near to the actors it gives the impression you too are interacting! Always good quality plays, very intense ones! Highly recommended for theatre lovers. And at affordable prices!β
βI popped in to get a new Mac charger, the men were very lovely and super helpful. They recommended which charger to get. They weighed up the options with me, which was helpful as I didnβt understand the difference between the two that they were showing me. 5 star service, 5 star help, 5 star banter! Highly recommend. βΊοΈβ
βOur first time there to see Tom Lee sing. Table reserved as requested, nice welcome and good service throughout. Will definitely return. Alanβ
βLovely salmon bagal and flat white today and the mokeys in the toilet!β
βBeautiful atmosphere, with food to die for! The most friendly staff and darling cocktails. Will 100% be bringing my friends and family here more often.β
βWe absolutely love ATA! My daughter Aurora has grown in confidence so much since joining, and itβs been a joy to watch her shine. She didnβt tell us she had a little speaking part in the Sidcup Fringe show, so it was a wonderful surprise β she was absolutely buzzing afterwards! The team at ATA are so supportive and passionate β theyβve created such a warm and encouraging environment. Weβre so proud of how far Aurora has come and so grateful for everything ATA has done for her. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a drama group that truly nurtures kidsβ confidence and creativity.β
βHaven't eaten here but the staff are fantastic, drinks are reasonably priced and the locals are lovely.β
