“It was the first time we had Sunday lunch at the General Eliott. It had a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We all had the roast lamb and the meat was very tasty and had a great selection of vegetables. We will definitely be back for Sunday lunch.”

“The Urban Rose is an amazing find hidden away in Uxbridge Leisure Centre. I have been a client since it opened and I would highly recommend this salon. The salon itself is decorated with a high finish and is always immaculately cleaned and maintained. The staff are friendly, polite and professional and I have always received outstanding service. I was absolutely thrilled with my “wedding hair” and the photos looked amazing. I also take my two young sons, who are 2 and 4, to have their hair cut at the Urban Rose. The stylists are always patient and attentive and as my 4 year old says, “he wouldn’t have his hair cut by anyone else!”. Thank you!”

“One of my favourite places locally for walking, fishing and generally chilling. Plenty of wildlife to spot including deer, kingfishers, herons and other waterfowl. HS2 are making a mess of it but don't let that put you off.”

“I don't remember the name of the associate who served me but i want to say that these 5 stars are ONLY for him! The store messed around my online order I had placed to be collected from store, they had cancelled it the day I was due to collect and it was for my godsons birthday!!! This kind gentleman managed to locate most of my items and personally packed this up for me. He went above and beyond to rectify a mistake that wasn't his fault. He was also very polite and a pleasure to deal with. I wish I had got his name, this was on Tuesday 09th Jan. Please let this colleague know he was great”

“I really enjoyed the Indian afternoon tea at Orangery by Sapna. The Karak tea was definitely the highlight rich, warming, and full of flavor. “I have been ordering regularly for about 1 year. Never had any issues, can't remember one time when the food wasn't to my taste. Plus the shop usually chips in with a fortune cookie or something which is a nice touch. Prices are more than reasonable if you ask me. Cheers”

“Really nice place. The interior is clean, spacious with a large view of the mall interior. The entrance is inside the next, in the women’s shoe section. A little tricky to find but definitely worth it. The coffee and hot chocolat is good. There is a nice selection of cakes and deserts as well as savoury food. The staff is nice and the service is quick.”

“Lively place with plenty of seats; outdoor tables are nice too. They have fun activities such as trivia night. The food is so-so but cheap. They have daily deals, drink deals, and so forth. We came for quiz night. The service is great. They ran out of an ale I ordered so they suggested a good alternative and even gave me a sample to try, a sample that could easily be 1/3 of a pint. Staff checked up on us multiple times, which is surprising given how busy they were.”

I tried one of their local ales, and it was perfectly chilled and full of flavor – just what I needed to unwind. The ambiance is cozy, with a nice mix of traditional decor and modern touches. Whether you’re sitting inside or enjoying the beer garden, it’s a comfortable spot to relax. Overall, having a pint at The Viaduct was a delightful experience, and I look forward to my next visit!”

“This thursday we collected a takeout from Arman. It was an amazing pick me up I needed and the kids enjoyed it too. I've been meaning to do a Google review of them for ages. Its one of the regular places we go to for Indian cuisine. Ive had many meals from them and thursday nights was excellent and tasty as usual. The quality of the food is of high standard and the staff are friendly too. We didn't order any rice, we love curry with naanbread. So below are the pics and this was food for a family of 5 (3kids under 13). We ordered: Chicken tikka Chicken balti Sheek kebab Keema peas Onion bhajis garlic naan Peshawar naan Plain naan Salad and mint sauce come complimentary.”

“Always good, always on time. Always correct. I'd rather free poppadoms than a bottle of drink though! The menu is slightly different from classic Indian takeaway, but they have some great dishes you can't get elsewhere, and they'll adjust dishes on request.
