“We recently had our wedding at Gorse Hill, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Everything on the day was seamless from start to finish — the communication, the planning process, and especially the day-of coordination. The venue itself is stunning — The grounds, the hotel and the event space were perfect for how we saw our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for: romantic, relaxed, and most importantly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Brandon for going above and beyond to make sure every detail on the day was perfect. We truly felt supported every step of the way and were able to enjoy our day completely stress-free. He is the person you want to have on the day to help and guide. If you're considering Gorse Hill for your wedding or event — do it. You’ll be in incredible hands, and your day will be everything you dream it to be. “Ordered a takeaway from here last night. Didn't know what to expect as this was the first order we have placed there. Food was delivered within 45 minutes. Good potion sizes and the food was very tasty, not at all oily, which can be the case sometimes with takeaways. We will definitely be ordering again in the near future.”

“We visited Panda Restaurant for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with generous portions that offered great value for money. Prices are very reasonable, making it a solid choice for both quality and affordability. Service was warm and highly attentive, though at times it felt a little chaotic, perhaps due to the lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and eager to help. The restaurant was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A great spot for a casual meal with flavour and good service. Would definitely return.”

“Had a Sunday evening family meal for 5 of us. We were served and looked after by Mira who did a fantastic job. Very polite and friendly. It seemed the restaurant had more staff on than normal (not sure if they had recruited more), but the staff (especially Mira) were brilliant. Salad bar was always topped up too!”

“We order from here regularly and it has become our go-to place for Indian takeaways. Food selection is very varied, imaginative and consistently excellent in quality and quantity. Staff and service is also excellent as they are very proactive and professional to assist with food allergy information as our daughter has a peanut allergy. Will come back, regularly.”

“Some of the best Indian food I have eaten! I had the Chicken Vindaloo and asked them to make it spicy, they did a good job, could have been spicier, but I get they have no clue how spicy to make it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. If I have a chance to come back to Woking, we will definitely eat here again!”

“Upon my visit to Woking I popped into Caffe Nero for a Cappuccino. My first visit to this outlet as I usually use my local outlet in Staines-upon-Thames. Tha staff were polite and helpful. I ordered a large cappuccino and a hot chocolate . The hot chocolate was for my wife who commented that she really enjoyed the flavour. My cappuccino was really tasty so a very pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink .”

“Held a wake here recently and all the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet we had was lovely and there was a good range. We were provided with take away boxes for the left overs. Will definitely visit again to try the hot food.”

“Super tasty food from this lovely village take away. Such a lovely family own this Chinese / Chip Shop. They really do their best to look after their customers. Even if you aren’t popping in, they’ll wave through the window to say hi. But their fish cakes are to die for. I can’t recommend here enough.”

“I’ve been meaning to leave a review for some time now, as I’ve been a customer for over two years. The food is very well made, delicious and at good prices. The service is always friendly and polite, and even on the couple of occasions there’s been a mistake (out of probably 40+ orders now), they fix it straight away. The cherry on top of these guys for me is that, I’m in the middle of moving away and I went around looking for packing boxes. All the other shops turned me away but I tried my luck there (never having gone in before as we always get delivery). They quite literally filled my car with boxes and even helped me load it up. Truly such wonderful people and a business that deserves local support.”

“By far, the best chinese within 10 miles, i've tried most Chinese takeaway / restaurant from New Haw, Byfleet, Woking, Horsell, St Johns and this is by far the best you can get for your money. Good tasty food, pleasant staff. I have been buying from them for the last 20 years! since they were in Woking, i've moved address several times since and so have they but well worth travelling the extra mile!”
