The sponge was moist and warm, soaked in just the right amount of toffee sauce, and topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. “We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”

“Don't let the negative reviews put you off booking. We really enjoyed our stay in one of the 'Premier Plus' rooms, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and all the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered breakfast, which is served in the pub (The Winning Post), which is on the side of the building. It was amazing; there was plenty of choice (even as a vegetarian), and the cooked breakfast was made to order. Again, all the Staff were sociable and friendly. We will definitely be back.”

“Really nice accommodation and the rating is a reflection of the value for money as well as the cleanliness of the property. I had a very comfortable king bed, which provided a great night of sleep. Tea and coffee is supplied, otherwise pretty much no frills. Beware if you have a phobia of canines as there are a few dogs. But the pups are harmless, and once they realise you're a friendly, they wonder off.”

“Came here even with seeing the reviews as it is the only place to eat if your staying in the cabins. I got chicken tenders and some mozzarella sticks, and they were absolutely delicious. Rest of the family enjoyed the food and left stuffed. The entertainment could have been on for longer since it had ended at 7:00, the bits we had done were quite good, a kahoot and higher or lower. If you win the kahoot they give you a fast pass as a prize what I thought was awesome. Staff were lovely and were wonderful with questions. Overall lovely little food place.”

“After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”
