“Amazing venue with amazing staff . We know the venue well so were happy to book the venue for a 70th birthday party. We booked the Glindon Room as this was on the ground floor and perfect for our guests as some were in wheelchairs. Preparation for the event was really easy and managed by George. Everything was perfect on the day, the room looked lovely, the buffet was fabulous and the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. “We were looking for some bespoke cabinets and shelves and we came across Chet's contact details through our local newsletter. Chet was super responsive to my enquiry, coming over that same evening to have a look. He gave us some great ideas and we knew straight away that we had the right guy for the job. Plus he quoted us a much fairer price than a well-known interior design company, which would not have been as bespoke either. The actual fitting proved tricky and took longer than expected because our walls are not level. Despite the extra time it took, Chet did not charge us anything more than what he initially quoted. We are so pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of Chet. I would recommend him without hesitation.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars It was my first time visiting Softplay with my 15-month-old, and I was pleasantly surprised! The area was spacious, clean, and not overcrowded at all. I loved that they had separate sections for different age groups — including a special area just for little ones up to 18 months. Everything was well supervised. One of the staff members was especially attentive, always making sure the older kids didn’t wander into the baby area and that everyone followed the rules. It made the experience feel very safe and respectful for everyone. The whole place was spotless, the vibe was great, and even the food was good! I also really appreciated that we didn’t need to pre-book — we just walked in, and for the whole family, it was only £11.50 for a two-hour slot, which is amazing value. Overall, it was a wonderful experience — clean, well-organized, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“My partner and I visited this lovely cafe. He ordered a delicious smoothie which he thoroughly enjoyed and the jacket potatoes we both had were very tasty. The salad on the side was fresh and went well with our potatoes :). We'd definitely visit the cafe again, the waiters were delightful. Many thanks.”

“What a lovely park. We visited twice so far in got weather and the children had lots of fun playing in the splash park. Excellent facility for kids. Families spend hours here and we stayed 1.5 hours. There's another playground next to it with swings and slides which we visited right after. Ample parking made this accessible. There's a toilet but we didn't use it so I don't know how good/clean it is.”

“I called this morning to get help with a water leak and cannot praise the service I received enough... The plumber was with me by 12pm and within less than 2 hours he found the leak, replaced the pipework, thus repairing the leak and left the place as he found it - you wouldn't even know he'd been here..!! Lovely helpful plumber, great service and a very happy (and dry) tenant. Thank you!!”
