“We spent a Friday evening here starting with axe throwing before going onto pool and then shuffle board. All of the staff were really friendly but one person in particular stood out - James. He is exceptional and helped ensure we had a really good time. He brings a lot of energy to the role and nothing was too much trouble. I think James in particular deserves some company recognition as he's an asset to the team. Great night and I highly recommend.”

“Got some food on the way home for the first time tonight and it has to be the best piri piri chicken we have ever had. The meals were all 10/10, fresh and tender chicken strips, wings and burger. Portions are huge and great value for money just wish we lived closer to this place!”

“Check-in was quick and easy, but the real highlight for us was the pub. Kajal looked after us and she was honestly brilliant! Really friendly, easy to chat to, and just made us feel comfortable straight away. She kept checking in on us at the right times, made some great suggestions, and you could tell she genuinely cared that we were having a good time. It gave the whole evening such a nice vibe. “My stay for 2 nights here was lovely. They room was spacious and had all the basic amemities including a Nespresso machine. The only let down in my opinion was the size of the bathroom which was tiny. The staff at reception as well as the restaurant are amazing and genuinely care of the guests.”

It’s minutes away from the train station, rooms are spacious, there’s air con, comfortable bed, good breakfast times, quiet and I left an item behind in the room and they were absolute stars in getting it back to me. The Cumberland sausage also makes a solid choice for a main course. Prices are reasonable, around \$30 per person without dessert. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”

“Massive superstore with every conceivable item you could possibly ever want ranging from frozen food to fresh fruit and vegetables to clothes and tableware and more I really like the fact that within this store there is a McDonalds. Lottery Kiosk, Hair Salon, Card and Gift Shop, Dry Cleaning and toilets. Also the staff here are so friendly, polite and helpful which made a really enjoyable shopping experience. Huge car park with plenty of free parking and a petrol station too. Highly recommended.”

“I cannot thank Eva enough for her amazing dog walking service, my little whippet Huxley was absolutely obsessed with her and was always the happiest, most excited boy whenever he saw her. Eva clearly loves what she does very much and that is apparent in the care she takes of each doggo, I always felt safe in the knowledge that my boi was well looked after and having an amazing time on his walkies. For anyone looking for a dog walker/sitter in Watford I cannot recommend Eva enough. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy!”

“Large playground with something to suit all ages. Does get very busy during holidays but it’s easily accessible in the park with a small steam train next door one side and a splash park the other. Also there is a nice and friendly cafe next to the park with hot or cold food.”

I was concerned about my tight budget and whether I could afford a good quality kitchen with Casalife - but they worked with me in deciding appliances, sink and tap, cabinets and doors with detailed 3D designs. I chose a 2 tone effect using AREDDO3 Kali with a mix of oak and Fenix finishes and some clever carousel storage solutions for my corner cabinets. During installation, Casalife quickly resolved the few technical hitches encountered. Their preferred kitchen fitter, Michael was great. Now in 2024, I added some shelving options with Casalife’s help. And my kitchen feels complete. I am very happy with my decision to go with Jacqueline and Karl and I would strongly recommend Casalife.”
