“We got married at Foxhills on 18.10.25 and honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. I was initially worried when our original wedding co-ordinator left with 6 months to go, but I needn't have been. The new wedding co-ordinator, Cheyenne, went above and beyond for us. She replied to emails quickly, took her time explaining everything and nothing was too much trouble. The actual day was faultless. The staff, in particular Georgia (the operations manager) were so friendly, efficient and militant in their organisation of everything, we just knew we were in safe hands. From the run up the day before, to the concierges helping us with taking decorations in the golf buggies, they couldn't have been kinder or friendlier. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was from the Orangery where we had our ceremony, to the Clubhouse where we held our reception. Special thanks to Nigel our amazing toastmaster who made the day so much better. Any little hitch (none of which was their fault, but ours!) was dealt with seamlessly. The next morning, we made the most of the facilities with the other guests; swimming, children's soft play and the delicious cooked breakfasts. We will definitely be back for our first anniversary and hopefully for years to come. Thank you Foxhills!”

“Absolutely amazing, the hotel is in a quaint location, the room was big enough to move around in so wasn't like a hamster den. The bed was very comfy and the whole place really nicely represented. Breakfast in the morning was lush, again fantastic presentation. Really loved this little place.”

“My favourite place to go to. Anything I need, I run to Aldi. Love their middle isle and this week u got 2 absolutely beautiful, soft, velvety blankets that are so so cozy. Got one first and loved it so much that had to go for the other later that week and that was the only one left so a must go every week for the amazing new stuff and ofcourse the weekly shopping :)”

“Wow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I can’t express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that he’d been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. I’m so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. I’m already looking forward to booking again for next year! “We visited Panda Restaurant for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with generous portions that offered great value for money. Prices are very reasonable, making it a solid choice for both quality and affordability. Service was warm and highly attentive, though at times it felt a little chaotic, perhaps due to the lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and eager to help. The restaurant was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A great spot for a casual meal with flavour and good service. Would definitely return.”

“After a lovely dinner, I decided to treat myself to dessert, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding, and it was simply divine. The sponge was moist and warm, soaked in just the right amount of toffee sauce, and topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Every bite was indulgent and comforting – the kind of dessert that makes you smile. It was the perfect way to finish the meal. The pub itself has such a warm and inviting vibe, with a mix of locals and visitors, which makes the whole experience even better. I left feeling full, happy, and already planning my next visit”

“Security guard went over his work remit by going out of his way to help me,excellent customer support from him. A manager I didn't take her name but she too gave me fabulous customer support. The only issue I had at the till I was told my Nectar card was blocked so I have to call Sainsbury's to fix it & add 100 points from shopping apparently I've got to do within 30 days. All this means I won't call,not convenient”
