“Amazing pub. It gives me all the feels. Blends into the surrounds to the point you could almost miss it. But don’t. It’s a joy. Great staff. Great food. An absolute gem.”

“Lovely traditional pub with rooms upstairs. Bed comfy, and relatively quiet given the location. Very handy for Thorpe park. Friendly staff at the bar and great ale selection. Will definitely stay again when back in the area”

“Food was good and the staff friendly (Elise-sorry if I’ve misremembered your name). The place was clean and comfortable with easy parking. There was a small delay with the food being served at that particular time due to a wake being held in another private room but we were kept informed and apologies were offered. Would recommend The Chelsfield Arms.”

“I recently held a wake for my late mother at The Queen’s Head, and I cannot praise the team enough. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during such an emotional time. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. There was a fantastic variety, and it was all so well received by our guests—it disappeared in no time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend The Queen’s Head to anyone looking for a venue to host a wake or any special gathering. Their dedication, kindness, and attention to detail made a difficult day so much easier. Thank you for everything!”

“Good range of craft beer on tap that changes occasionally (more IPA’s please!). Sports screens showing whatever big event is on and good pizzas (used to be pies so assume the kitchen changes every so often). Good outdoor areas and staff seem very personable”

“I attended this lovely brunch location with a best mate on Tuesday and it was amazing! We had a lovely waitress called Ale who was priceless. Her service was spot on, she gave recommendations about the food and beverages included within the bottomless brunch session. She was attentive and jovial. Food was very flavoursome and beverages nice with a decent amount of alcohol! Highly recommend and would 100% return myself”

“Such a great place. Brilliant people, amazing food - getting the simplest things spot on. Spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli… seems easy, but so hard to make this delicious. And a reasonably priced place to eat in the middle of Notting Hill - what’s not to like??”

“As a life long foody I have tried many many burgers over the years. Hand on heart Munchalato's are up there with the best. You may have to wait a while for an order on weekends etc but honestly it's worth it. Absolutely everything we have tried has been amazing so far. “I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”
