“Lovely, small , cozy and cute place. Nice coffee. Awesome blueberry muffin. I was amazed by it! Fast , professional and kind customer service. Greetings for polish gentleman. Free WiFi. Charge points. Dinning in or take a way. Access to the toilet in the 2nd floor, just walk through Canada Gardens reception.”
“One of the best cheap eats in docklands. The food is well served and service is very good. The decor is nice with some live music gigs from time to time. A good place to check out if you are around the area esp. during the 2012 games.”
“The Ruffians team are brilliant. Super friendly and caring. I’ve always been insecure about my hair and never been able to articulate what I want/what looks good on me. But the team listen and advise and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service and cut. I personally love getting my hair cut by Siraq, the man is a genius, evident in both my hair and our haircut chat. I highly recommend Ruffians for the haircut quality and service”
“I had a wonderful brunch experience at The Garden Rooms. Christina, our server, was friendly and efficient, making our visit even more enjoyable. The smashed avocado on sourdough and huevos rancheros were both incredibly tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was pleasant, with great background music and lovely green decor that added to the ambiance. I highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch outing.”
“I've been an RHS member for ten years, but this was my first time visiting Glow. What a treat—why did I wait so long?! The gardens at RHS Wisley are always lovely, but Glow adds a whole new dimension to them. Definitely rug up, because it gets cold at night! We finished the evening with some delicious jacket potatoes after our walk.”
“I took a group to the Garden, we had a tour of the Garden in the morning which was really enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable. In the afternoon we did the Heritage Tour, a guide joined us on our coach and showed us round Windsor Great Park. This was an amazing experience. Our guide was Chris and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.”
“Great little cafe, very community orientated. Friendly staff, nice menu, lovely surroundings too. Highly recommended, nice background music, good quality of food and drinks, really impressed. If ever I'm passing again, I'll be sure to return.”
“This is a beautiful park and gardens that has had a lot of investment and conservation in recent years. The landscaping is beautiful and as well as a cultural landmark this is a great local park and gardens for the community. Chiswick House is definitely worth a visit if you love nature, history and enjoy a beautiful setting for a walk. Child friendly with a modern cafe, it is also a short walk from the river Thames with beautiful walks down the Thams Path!”
“The scone with jam and cream might be the best one I've ever had. Lovely location in the garden centre.”
“Wonderful calming atmosphere - nice furniture, good lighting, Classic FM gently playing. But not the place to go if you're in a rush! I visited a couple months ago and will return soon. The owner makes lovely strong coffee (I had the macchiato, so I'm sure there are gentler brews!) and takes great care in making sandwiches to order. He's an elderly guy so he's quite slow, but I didn't mind at all. And all for such a low price that I forgot I was even in London!!”
“Amazing breakfast place, the atmosphere is cosy and comfy, the staff are very friendly and attentive, reasonably priced menu definitely recommend if you’re looking for something filling!”
“This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. I'd give it more stars if it was possible.”
“Recently l came across this cafe while walking along the River Lee Navigation. The veggie breakfast that I had was excellent and the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend coming here.”
“A pleasant café within the Camden Art Centre with seating inside and outside in the garden. There were three types of salad available when we went - a large portion of the bean and fennel salad was good for both of us, followed by a slice of excellent cake.”
“Coffee Gardens is a hidden gem in the heart of Leytonstone. My wife and I recently visited this charming cafe for breakfast and we were completely blown away by the experience. I ordered the full English breakfast and let me tell you, it was the best I have ever had. The quality of the ingredients, the taste, and the presentation were all top-notch. Every bite was a delight and I savored every moment of my meal. My wife, who is a vegetarian, opted for the vegetarian breakfast and she was equally impressed. The dish was beautifully prepared and had a perfect balance of flavors. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating these dishes. I also have to give a special mention to our waiter, who provided excellent customer service throughout our meal. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He even recommended some delicious drinks that complimented our meals perfectly. Overall, our experience at Coffee Gardens was nothing short of amazing. The food, the service, and the ambiance all exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast experience. We will definitely be returning soon.”
“Booked a table at German Gymnasium last minute on Sunday and had a great time. The food was exceptional and the service was spot on. The staff were really attentive and even stored our luggage while we ate, which was a nice touch. We ordered a couple of pints of lager that turned out to be quite flat, but we didn’t realise until our third round that it wasn’t meant to taste like that. We mentioned it to the team, who confirmed it was just a bad batch and kindly took the two off the bill. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with great food and friendly service – would happily visit again.”
“The manager Tina was amazing! She helped me and my family with a difficult situation she went above her duties to help me and my children and as I never had the chance to have my tea and scone when served, I got a new hot pot of tea! Thank you Tina! The food was really good as well!”
“I found the store small could of made it a larger but the stuff was helpful and very plight witch is important and I was pleased with my iterm indeed”
“What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”
“Plenty of open space and wooded areas to explore, with the well appointed hub for all your other needs(cafe, toilets), and a great play park for the kiddies. Miniature railway and a small farm nearby, can't recommend enough. We went for this year's fireworks display and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a family visit.”
“Always very nice during the week. It gets very crowded on weekends and half term so we tend to avoid it at those times. We always get something to eat for lunch and if you have a zebra card, you'll get a discount on both entry and food/drinks. My little one loves it!”
“Good shisha bar with good and large portion food, always up for some large portions of innovative english breakfast.”
“The food is brilliant and affordable, the staff and great- the operators know the area intimately and care for their community. A perfect and rare community cafe.”
“A lovely garden centre cafe. If you get the membership (£15 a year I think) you'll get 2x free hot drinks and month and other discounts in store. Great breakfasts and I'll be back for the roast dinner!”
“Lovely food. Bit too many pigeons indoors.”
“Here is the English translation: I came from Taiwan and stayed at a 2-person room on the 5th floor for 13 days at the end of November. At first, I saw many mixed reviews, but after staying here, I truly felt the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and I had no bad experiences. There was no curtain beside the bed, but there were four outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The food sold on the first floor was affordable and tasty, and it’s also a good choice if you want to have a drink. If you need hot water, you can ask for it at the bar. The self-service breakfast costs £9.5 and is enough to make you full. The bathrooms and toilets were clean too, although some locks were broken, but it didn’t affect usage. The heating starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the morning; sometimes it starts earlier or ends earlier. I am still staying here now, and I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to London and don’t have very high requirements for accommodation.”
“I came to the courtyard restaurant on Friday 29th August with my best friend for her birthday for afternoon tea and what an enjoyable experience we had.. We were welcomed with smiles and made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door. I had booked this online and I was taken to a table reserved with my name on (personal touch was lovely) I can't begin to tell you how amazing the food was and how much there was, we were given a list of teas to choose from and given a beautiful teapot.. Now I love an afternoon tea and I can honestly say that this was by far the best one I have ever had my friend also said it was amazing. Claire who made the food done such an amazing job and it was arranged beautifully on the stand.. I will definitely be coming back as all the food that passed us looked delicious. Well done courtyard restaurant staff for making our experience a memorable one for the right reason.”
“Awesome little independent coffee shop! My girlfriend had the hot chocolate which she claims to this day is the best hot chocolate she's ever had! Also such great merch, I couldn't help myself buying their caps.”
“The most gorgeous park in central London. Usually you can find a bench to seat on, enjoy the wildlife and beautiful gardens. It’s really not as crowded as you would expect, unless it’s a hot day/holidays. The park is really well maintained, amazing for people who like watching birds.”
“What a place. Small, friendly, cozy, with lovely food served by lovely people; incredible value for money too!”
