“Absolutely gutted. I had never eaten Chinese food until I found this place - it was the only spot I trusted because it’s Halal, and it quickly became my go to. I’ve recommended it to so many people and have been a loyal customer for years. But now? I’m paying up to £41 for just three dishes. That’s just not right. When I first started ordering, dishes were around £9. Even when they went up to £11, I understood. But £14 PER item? That’s extortionate. I’m honestly so disappointed. I loved this place, but the pricing now feels unfair - especially during a cost of living (and I do understand this from a business POV, yet this is too much!!). It’s a real shame to see one of my absolute favourite spots become completely unaffordable.”

“I stumbled upon Mimi’s Kitchen Eat-In and Takeaway for a late lunch, and I’m so glad I did. The food selection was impressive—fresh, well displayed, and ready to go. I had the Jollof rice (absolutely divine) and the “fish platter”, which was perfectly seasoned and sweet, tender plantain. I also tried a bit of my friend’s moinmoin and it was DELICIOUS. (I literally want it right now.) The customer service was lovely too—the server was kind & mindful when my friend asked if the Jollof and moinmoin had been cooked with any meat, as she’s veggie. It’s always appreciated when staff are considerate about dietary requirements. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make the drink options and their prices a little easier to view—it would make adding a drink to your meal a bit more effortless. But honestly, that’s the only (tiny) thing. All in all, a perfect lunch find!”

“this is for a collection order. To be honest I don't eat pizza very often but some clever marketing from Dominos had left a memory of an Indian flavor "Gunpowder Chicken" pizza in my mind so I decided to go for it- and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED :). The flavors are mildly Indian, not overpowering and while it's spicy with Jalapenos; I took most of them off to reduce the kick and it worked great. I also got 4 wings and they hit the spot. To top it off the order was ready within 10-12 mins which is impressive- about the exact time it took me to drive to the location. Dominos is not gourmet pizza and it does not pretend to be, but for a quick fix (literally)- I don't think any local Italian restaurant could rustle you up an authentic pizza so for convenience and a 'something different' taste, the experience was top notch. My only suggestion is offering customers a choice of sauces for wings as the red hot sauce was too tangy for me- I would have loved a Ranch dip instead.”

“I ordered the Hong Kong style Fuzhou fried rice (called Fujian fried rice in Hong Kong) on Uber Eats. Despite the negative comments on Google, I actually found this Fujian fried rice very authentic! The egg fried rice base was cooked to perfection, and the seafood sauce was full of ingredients. Although it is quite expensive, the portion is generous. I quite like it actually!”

“My neighbour shared a slice of his pizza with me the other week and I couldn't believe something so tasty could be found in Plumstead... the pizza wasn't bad either! Ba-dum-tish! I have ordered pizza from here twice now. I am addicted to the BBQ Original Pizza (stuffed crust with cheese). Oh my goodness, it is delicious! Ingredients so fresh and very reasonably priced, it knocks local well-known competitors aside. I am already looking forward to my next one. “Domino’s is my go-to for pizza nights — quick delivery, great variety, and consistent quality. Their Chicken Feast, Texas BBQ, and Pepperoni Passion are my usual picks, and every one of them comes loaded with toppings and bubbling hot cheese. I also love the Garlic & Herb Dip — it’s addictive and goes with everything. The crust is soft with a bit of crisp on the edge, and their stuffed crust option is definitely worth it if you’re hungry. The cookies and chocolate lava cakes are surprisingly good as dessert add-ons too. Delivery is always fast, and I’ve never had a wrong or cold order from this branch. The staff are courteous and the order tracking system makes everything easy. It’s hard to beat Domino’s when you want fast, tasty pizza with zero fuss.”
