“Edit- 14.12.2024 Halley Clinic reached out and were very helpful and receptive to the feedback. I can definitely attest to the fact that they prioritise their client’s satisfaction. Thank you to Bilgen and the team. I booked in for an eyelash lift today at this business. It was not the best experience. When I tried to get in for my appointment the door was locked & no one was answering the phone. I eventually saw the buzzer but i thought this information should probably have been on their website if the door is going to be locked. I didn’t get into my appointment on time and even when i finally got in, I was asked to wait. The lady who did my brows offered me a coffee, so that was nice but by the time I got into my appointment it was quite a bit later than it should have been. She didn’t seem to know what I had actually booked for and asked me whether I was there for a facial. This makes me wonder if their online booking system even works or whether she knew I was even coming in. As for the eyelashes, they’re not as lifted or dark as I’m used to. They are passable but not really as good as I’ve had in the past. The lady said it was because it was the first time doing it, but I have had about 10-15 eyelash lifts before that at other businesses and they have looked more lifted and dark than this. However, I didn’t complain because in the end they do look okay, just not what I usually get from a lift. I don’t know if they’ll last though, as they aren’t really lifted that much. Overall, the lady was nice and I resisted leaving a negative review because I do think she was trying to make it a pleasant experience but I think it’s better for the business to know what’s happening. Additionally, there were no card services and I had to do a bank transfer which was a bit of a hassle at the end.”

“I visited Shine on Church Street today for first my haircut and colour since lockdown. I've been shielding for months and so was extremely pleased to see all the measures they've taken to keep everyone safe. Best haircut I've had in ages, lovely service and super safe - you're even asked to swap your mask for one of their disposable ones at the door, and remove your coat so that you're minimising anything from the outside coming in to the salon. Full PPE worn by all salon staff and only 2 customers in each room so easy to keep a 2metre distance. Thanks so much to Carla and the whole team for a really great experience today, you have this customer for life now!”
