“Used a few times and have had a good experience. It's always tough to leave your dog somewhere and not worry about them. But have been reassured when he stays here. Friendly staff, lots of friendly and happy dogs are usually boarding there too. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good kennel.”

“I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Pax Lodge, one of WAGGGS’ World Centres, during a recent business trip to London—and wow, did it exceed my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I could feel the thoughtfulness and warmth that makes this place truly special. Everything at Pax Lodge has a story—from the memorabilia on the walls to the traditions that connect visitors from around the world. The volunteers and staff are some of the loveliest, most knowledgeable people you’ll meet. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, engaging, and full of that signature Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting spirit. Beyond just a place to stay, Pax Lodge has a vibe—it’s welcoming, inspiring, and filled with a sense of global sisterhood. Whether you’re visiting for work, travel, or a bit of both, this is a place where you don’t just stay—you experience. Highly recommend!”

“A wonderfully secluded well kept hostel - ideal for a weekend away with 14 friends (as long as you're prepared for dormitory sleeping!!). We'd thoroughly recommend for a group of friends who enjoy the outdoors and don't mind a walk and a bit of mud! I walked there from Box Hill and Westhumble station - very pleasant 1hr stroll.”

“The place is really nice and safe to stay in London, both for short term and long term. The location is very convenient, with bus lines and supermarkets nearby. The area is very green, beautiful and casual as well. Rooms and shared communal areas are all very clean and tidy. The management team have always been very helpful and considerate. They also provide people with places for self isolation during the pandemic. I would highly recommend it!”

“Lovely hostel in a great location. Small but spotless and really well equipped. Communal room has a wood burning fire which made it very cosy in the evenings. About 30 minutes to walk to Seer Green railway station. Trains to London and Oxford. Also 35 minutes walk to The Cricketers. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend Jordans.”
