    Pikkle Peppa Caribbean London

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“Came in with my boyfriend ordered 2 patties for a quick munch. I am usually intimidated by Caribbean restaurants as customer service isn’t always great. But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. Will only come here from now and can’t wait to try other food. Thank you ! X”

“A must visit for anyone who wants to see our rich tradition of pubs in East London before it's too late. Don't just pose outside making TikTok videos, get yourself multiple pints of beer and make sure you have a good old chinwag with as many people as you can around the tables before getting hoofed out onto the cobbles at closing time. Piano night on a Monday is a great buzz. This place is the only pub I know in inner city London serving Crouch Vale and it's very nice. The ESB will also give you some old strong London flavours if you've never had it before. The staff are cool and I want to see this place stay the same for another 100 years.”

“I had been thinking about cutting my long hair for a very long time, and finally decided to go for it. I chose this salon because of the great reviews, and I’m so glad I did! Milu did an amazing job! He really listened to what I wanted and helped me find the perfect haircut that suits me so well. I felt completely comfortable and in good hands throughout the whole process. I’m absolutely happy with the result - fresh, stylish, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend!”

“Great activity for kids. Clean, tidy and lots of fun! Tickets are good value but you have to buy and use their own socks which adds to the cost first time round. Soft play for under 5s and younger jumper section cordoned off from main area which is nice for smaller ones. Cafe didn't open until 9:30am although our ticket was from 9am so spectators or jumpers might have to wait if first in. Other areas include a dodgeball arena, crash pit, basketball trampoline court. Spectators can sit in cafe which is upstairs and good view of whole place.”

If you are in to knitwear and great basics, a beautiful palette of lovely colours which always follow the seasons, this is a must visit. “Today I had a blowout on the way to work. Came into Kwikfit and Hamza & Garry were very helpful. They gave me a plethora of options on the tyres I could have fitted and made it easy for me to decided. Hamza talked me through the process and then sprang to action. He let me know Danni & Kai would be working on my car who kept me updated on the process as it was underway. I was very happy with the experience overall and am now confident that I will be back at this branch in future for anything car related going forward. Big thanks to Hamza for today.”

While there I purchased what can only be described as 1 of the best smoothies I have ever had straight 9/10. If you ever pass for a trim ask for laz and get a strawberry banana smoothie.”

    Tattoo Society London

“My girlfriend and I decided to get tattoos while on vacation. Stopped in the Crystal Palace location and was greeted immediately. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our Artists Eddy did a great job. He listened to what we wanted and when we came back to our appointment had great options for us to choose from. The design for my tattoo had much more detail than the initial draft. When he began to run over the time he quoted he told me I would not be charged extra. As time continued to pass he did not rush. Towards the end he even added in a few more small details and finishing touches to make it better. Through everything he was nice and very easy to talk to. His attention to detail and dedication to his art and clients is top notch. In the end I got much more than I paid for and left with amazing art. Definitely would recommend this shop if you are in the area and looking for great work in a comfortable atmosphere.”

The crust had just the right amount of crispiness, and the flavors were on point. Delivery was super fast, and the pizza arrived hot and fresh. Special shoutout to the manager, Kishan, for ensuring everything was perfect. The service was friendly, and the entire process from ordering to delivery was seamless. “Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”

“I visited Eagle London recently after more than 15 years—and wow, what a great experience! It’s still such a cool, iconic venue, and I feel lucky that places like this are still around. In a time when LGBTQ+ spaces are disappearing, Eagle is more important than ever. It’s the perfect mix of cool nostalgia, good ol’ flirting, and fresh, welcoming vibes. The crowd was fun, the energy was great, and the whole night just had that special something that’s hard to find elsewhere. So glad I came back—and I’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“Superb school and staff. We moved our child from our local outstanding school to Acorn after we noticed he was been left behind due to a rushing attitude on learning and some other factors. The care and attention given here has huggly improved his well being therefore a massive step towards the education. If you are thinking of joining the school go and see it for yourself. Notice the happy children, notice the classrooms and the office. Speak to the teachers and you will get your answers. We are very greaful to have chosen this school.”
