“My kitten stayed here in December, his first time in a cattery. I was a very anxious cat mummy as Dylan is a rescue. I cannot praise this establishment enough. Not only did they post pictures and videos on their fb page . But they told me I could email if I was concerned. They replied promptly to all my emails and constantly reassured me . I had one very calm ,happy kitty when I returned from my holiday . So much so that I've booked him in for our holiday in July . The staff are so caring and so passionate about what they do , that no matter how anxious I feel about leaving my fur baby , I have every confidence that they will give him the same care and love as if he was their own and if I have a wobble they won't delay in letting me know that he is happy and ok . They even let me come and look round and meet the staff before his first stay . 10/10 on every aspect of my Dillsy's stay”

“The food was great - every dish we ordered was delicious and devoured by our large group. I would recommend booking in advance for bigger groups, to ensure availability. We were seated in the function room, which provided a more quiet atmosphere. The menu was impressive with a variety of options. The service was top-notch, and the prices were very reasonable. Thai Spicy is a hidden gem in the area, and i can't wait to return!”

“Romaine carried out a whole range of different works to my property, first fix plumbing for kitchen refurb, boiler upgrades, new radiators and shower. He also dealt with an undiagnosed gas leak and disconnected an old gas fire. There was a lot to get though! He’s very focussed and organised and communicates clearly at every stage about what needs to be done and why. I thought he took a real pride in his work and was very professional and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a solid and reliable plumber, a rarity these days! He’s been a great find, and I wouldn’t think about using any other plumber in the future. “Purchased 17 closed board Fences along with concrete posts and gravel boards, delivery was within a week. The delivery guy was amazing, helped him unload as well. Got them fitted over the weekend by myself with a bit of help and they look amazing, even my neighbours were chuffed at the way it looks. “As The Local has starting doing fresh food, we had done a catering order for a small gathering. The samosas, batatavada and khaman were really good. The flavours were like home made and the portions sizes were good. They also accommodate for the dietary requirements and manage to make food and delivery early on Sunday morning. Highly recommended.”

“I visited Thanet House Dental for my first appointment and I cannot fault my experience. The dentist was fantastic, friendly and informative. I am usually an anxious patient but I felt completely at ease with him. I had a general check up with a scale and polish (all NHS) and he did a brilliant job. I then wanted to book a hygienist appointment for a deeper clean (I am 3.5 years overdue), and there was no availability until late September. As I'm getting married in a couple of weeks the receptionist suggested I ask the dentist if he'd mind doing it for me and he kindly agreed. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating, I highly recommend them.”

The staff there were incredibly helpful, especially when we couldn't find an item on our list and when we went to pay. The lady at the kiosk was kind enough to allow the children to individually purchase an item each, thus allowing them to handle money and gain invaluable life skills.
