“The most welcoming people. Wonderful generous value for money, smart décor and a wide choice of dishes. Only came in for a classic all day breakfast. This is SET 3 of a choice of six! I asked for the beans (worth little) to be replaced by mushrooms (pricey) and they didn't charge me any extra! The coffee was frothy and potent, and adding two more bits of hot proper buttered toast was just a quid more! So £7.95 and a real treat. From steak to seafood and sandwiches, omelettes and wicked fruity pie deserts! Parking is mostly easy on this brilliant little parade and I will be baaaack!!”

“We went there to see "as December falls". I will be honest, I'm in my late 40's and went mainly to support my youngest (20). I can honestly say I really enjoyed myself, it had the vibe of a rock/metal gig venue from 25-30 years ago, everyone looking out for each other, but with a modern twist, a new generation following the old school values of doing their best to just love the music and doing all the can to help others enjoy it too. The other thing that struck me is the price of drinks, here in Surrey we are sadly used to being hammered by drink prices, and I fully expected the drinks to be on the he pricey side, especially as we were a captive audience, that had choice but pay the prices they charged. The date was the 15/08/2025 and 2 single vodkas with cranberry came to £11 (something). I have paid a lot more in places I have enjoy far less in the area. Finally, without going into detail, we had some additional needs, we needed a chair for the gig part, and honestly it was no trouble, we told one person at the bar, I didn't catch his name, but but the time we got into the gig part, all the staff knew, and were descreetly on hand if needed Thanks to all the staff at the fighting cocks, those at banquet records who ran the music part, and to As December Falls for a brilliant albeit hot and sticky night”

“A lovely find we stumbled upon by chance, being in the neighbourhood. I would recommend booking in advance for Sunday roast. There’s a lovely ambiance, good selection of drinks (and good wines), very kind people running the place, books for kids, and gentle jazz music on Sundays.”

“After an extremely eventful and sleepless night, we desperately needed a beer or 2. And my goodness did we find the right place! From the moment the doors were opened, to when we eventually stumbled out, we were totally looked after by the unbelievable staff. It's clear to see that they take immense pride in their jobs, it really comes across. We spent a solid 6+ hours in there and it was like being in an episode of cheers! Fantastic locals, the chef even stayed and had some drinks with us after his shift (what a lovely man!) my only regret is not sitting down for a full meal. Although he cooked us up a sausage butty which basically saved my life... A special mention for Adele, who clearly leads by example. She was entertaining and professional the entirety of our visit. Even though we're from up North, I will 100% be coming back to try the food, and say hello to all the lovely people there. Thank you all for a memorable experience”

“We had our humanist wedding ceremony at the Space (it is not licensed for legal weddings, we did this separately at a registry office). It's a lovely old building and worked really well for our ceremony. Theres a nice bar onsite and small outside area, partly covered which helped as it rained for some of the day. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hire rate is very reasonable. Thanks everyone!”

“In a town where culture, the arts and music has been allowed to dwindle for the best part of 15 years, the Pump House is an absolutely vital part of the local arts and music scene. It provides an essential space for music and theatre in a way no other venue now does in Watford. From amateur theatre and kids theatre groups, to live music of all sorts, Watford would be artistically poorer without the Pump House. It should be supported and protected at all costs.”

“I really enjoyed the performance of The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime at this theatre! They captured the essence of the book so well! The set design was gorgeous and the cast was great! The price was good for a lovely ambiance in a small community theatre. This was my first time in a theatre like this, so I didn’t know what to expect - but I definitely wasn't disappointed!”

“Last night I visit Everyman for the first time, I have always wanted to come but aware of higher prices I was waiting for the right time. I was surprised to an amazing experience, the service felt premium focused on all details of our experience at their cinema. I want to especially thanks Lucy for explaining how Everyman works and make sure we felt looked after from the beginning to the end of our visit. Not only I’ll come back, as I highly recommend a visit to Everyman Maida Vale.”

“A great evening watching Joe Pasquale and Brian Conley. The seats in the upper circle are very steeply banked, so beware if you're not good with heights. The seats are also small and a snug fit so not much legroom or either side of you. Great venue though and polite staff!”

“A Modern Gem of a Theatre The Bridge Theatre is a bit out of the way from the Tube, but don't let that stop you. The walk along the river, with views of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, is one of the best strolls in London. It's almost worth going just for that! We saw "Guys and Dolls" here - fantastic show, though heads up, it's a long one at nearly 3 hours. We opted for seats rather than the standing "immersive" experience, and I'm glad we did. The seats are super comfy, and I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed running around the rising platforms for that long. But hey, if you're up for an adventure, go for it! The theatre itself is sleek and modern - a refreshing change from some of the older West End venues. The sound and staging were top-notch, and (in my opinion) there wasn't a bad seat in the house. My tips: - Guys and Dolls - Book seats if you want comfort, standing if you're feeling adventurous and allow plenty of time - shows can be long. - Enjoy the walk there - it's part of the experience (so get there early and there are plenty of places to eat and drink before the show). - Check out the bar before the show - great atmosphere I'm already looking forward to catching more shows here. It's not just a theatre, it's a whole evening out in one of London's coolest spots. Definitely worth a visit, even if you're not a regular theatre-goer.”

The Darren and the team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The facilities were excellent, providing everything we needed for a seamless event. An excellent garden perfect for adults and kids with the climbing frame. The food was was taken care of by Anita, who delivered a gorgeous BBQ with a mixture of meats and salads catering for all, absolutely outstanding. We received so many compliments from our guests. “Amazing performance, my first time seeing a show on the west end and it didn’t disappoint! I saw a lot of reviews saying negative things about the bathrooms but they warn you as you’re queuing outside if you haven’t been go before the show. So it didn’t bother me at all. I wish we could take photos but it was incredible”
