“Having used Boydens before, I knew we would be well looked after, but today both Ellie and Rosie went above and beyond. Their customer service was excellent and having spent a couple of hours going through all of our options (in order to fully replace an existing bathroom) their help and guidance was fantastic. “Been here before to pick up just avocado maki; this time I was in a rush so explained this to the shop owner who was professional and polite, said he could make me up a sushi box in the 10 mins I had if I chose quickly. After changing my choice a couple of times he was patient enough to go with it and I settled on the Omega Box (8 Salmon & Avocado Rolls, 6 Salmon Maki, 6 Avocado Maki) which came with soya sauce, wasabi paste (firmer and drier than usual sushi box wasabi, possibly better quality?) - with a 10% takeaway discount it came to £11.69. Sushi rice was room-temperature (as best enjoyed), well-seasoned and good texture, fresh-tasting fish and avocado, with a good amount of filling in the salmon & avocado rolls; really enjoyed and plan to return!”

The food was hot upon arrival, flavoursome and didnt inflict any sort of food poisoning- and I have a VERY weak stomach when it comes to food related illnesses. Again, flabbergasted at the bad reviews- 10/10 would order again!”

“Tried this place again as first time when it opened I was a little disappointed with the miso soup and gunkan which I found to be too salty and flavourless. This did not disappoint this time, the bubble tea was refreshing (ordered with less ice and less sugar), the food was delicious and decent portion sizes. Could pick up wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce for free as additions. Very friendly customer service, patient and helpful with all my questions and changing my mind. I plan to return here again, lovely place!”

“I had a very nice full british breakfast at this Portuguese restaurant in Purley. The breakfast included: Hash browns, sausages (pork), mushroom, Eggs (you can choose between fried, poached or scrambled) I had my ones poached, bacon, beaked beans, black pudding, toast, butter, tomatoes light fried,”

“Food is delicious, especially the chicken and black bean sauce and Hong Kong style chicken. Really sweet lady who works in the store. Delivery is super fast. Originally we use to go to phoenix, but their food quality dropped, so we tried new star and have been happy ever since.”

“Great service and food. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Leanne, gave me a choice of tables and made me feel welcome. Then Irving my waiter introduced himself , he was friendly , polite and seemed to enjoy his job, went out of his way to make us feel special.
