“We came here for my friends 40th! We were placed in one of the cosy booths upstairs. Such a lovely quirky restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and served us straight away. Good was delicious especially the steak! Cooked to perfection! Prices really reasonable. We all had a great time and the live singer was a great touch too.”

“Went here last Thursday as heard they did a good quiz night. Had a burger and a couple of pints of Guinness zero; burger was top notch, proper gourmet stuff and we really enjoyed the quiz, we somehow won! Only downside was that it was a bit quiet, probably helped us win the quiz though. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.”

“Out of all Nurseries we looked at we decided to go with Fennies. I am truly impressed with the care and patience of the staff. Our daughter enjoys her time a lot at the nursery and is always excited to go there. We really thought she would not want us to leave and cry when we drop her off in the morning, but it turns out she loves to play with other children and enjoys all the activities at Fennies. “Absolutely fantastic! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked with a crispy golden batter, and the chips were fluffy on the inside and wonderfully crispy on the outside. The portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere. “lovely staff and good amount of seating area. i had the cinnamon roll more than once it was very nice! not everyone can perfect the roll but it suited my preference for it well. there’s an upstairs with a lighter environment great for doing work and a downstairs area which is a bit moodier but a nice place to read books just depending on your preference.”

“Just went for the first time and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s an excellent menu, really great options. A good mix of hearty stuff, but nice lighter options too. Meat, fish and veggie options. The place is clean and beautiful, service was spot on and the food was fresh and really well cooked. Absolutely delicious! The prices are really good. Pint of Amstel is £5.50 which is rare these days. The portions were also generous. Can’t wait to go back!”

“The atmosphere at FILTR was great, the coffee (my oat milk latte) was very smooth and tasty, it is great sustainably sourced coffee. I tried their coconut matcha latte on another occasion and I think they do coffee the best (I felt their was not enough matcha itself in the drink, but this may be personal preference). Seating available inside and outside, which is great to sip your coffee when the sun is out! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, great customer service!”

“Food was delicious. The decor is beautiful too. I had the scallops for starters and they were cooked to perfection and the lamb rump for main was also nice. The drinks / cocktails were rather expensive for a Croydon restaurant but they were also pretty good. Portions are not the biggest to order some sides if you’re hungry.”
