“I came for the bottomless brunch. Harri the bartender was great and made sure we always had cocktails ready to drink, there was a lovely lady called Lisa serving us. Honestly service here has always been great. I prefer the general menu to the bottomless brunch menu but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all!”

“Really nice little cafe. Bright and colourful and the girl serving from South Africa was really friendly! We only ordered drinks and some chips to eat outside (17.08.24 about 15:25) and we were served quickly. Chips were brought out to the table for us outside so we didn’t need to wait for them. Will definitely go back - the burgers that the chef was cooking looked DELICIOUS and so did the chicken wings that we saw them taking out!”

If you want a more relaxed experience, I'd suggest booking your visit for after 1:30 PM to avoid the busiest rush.”

“Delicious Steak, Great Service! We had a fantastic dinner at this steakhouse. The steak was cooked perfectly. Juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The sides were also spot on, especially the grilled vegetables and chunky fries. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was cosy, and the small touches (like the chimichurri sauce and candlelight) made the experience even better. “We popped in for lunch and told the staff that it was our 22nd anniversary. We both had the set £10 menu. I had mushroom gyōza and Kakugiri ramen and my partner had pork gyōza and Tokyo ramen and we each had a half of Kirin beer. The food was delicious and such great value and the beer was lovely and refreshing. When we came to pay, our waitress said the beer was comped to celebrate our anniversary. What a lovely gesture. Great team, great food.”

“We had our wedding party at Cafe Rust last year, and everything about it was fantastic! Anna is the QUEEN of organisation and delicious food, and thanks to her and the team we had the perfect wedding. The cafe looked beautiful, the food was amazing (people were talking for months afterwards about the slow-cooked middle eastern lamb!) and all the staff were so friendly and worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly. Would 100% recommend Cafe Rust as the perfect venue and it will always hold a special place in our hearts ”

It was packed, which made taking photos tricky, but I still managed to steal a few frames that felt worth it. The blonde girl at the bar greeted me with a smile. Didn’t stay for coffee this time — I was here for the light, the textures, and the visual mood. But something tells me I’ll be back, with time to sit.”
