“Went to the Newhaven Curry House for a take away order on the Monday the 27th. I had a Chicken Tikka and it was still piping hot when we arrived home and the curry was absolutely superb and very tasty and was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were very welcoming, food served , perfection, noted as i waited for mine ,prices on board extremely reasonable , breakfast & lunch served , plenty of customers were eating , which is always a good sign. “Top quality fish and chips. The fish is fresh not frozen and you can taste the difference. Friendly welcome and a great location. Nice you can eat there or grab a take away- the £2 car park charge is refunded if you do that. Ideal for a bite to eat before getting on the ferry. Keep up the good work!”

“Visiting Bishopstone station for Artwave, we thought we would give the sailing club cafe a try. The welcome was warm, the menu varied and the service excellent & friendly. We had fish & chips with lovely crunchy batter & tasty fish, well cooked & non-greasy as were the chips & a fresh salad. A bacon & brie sandwich plus cheesy chips also went down well. We are delighted with this new to us cafe & hope to return when we next visit Seaford. The bonus is the free car park just over the road. The staff also accommodated our specific request with regard to one of our party when ordering who needed a slight adjustment to their meal.”

“I popped in today for a quick shandy as the weather was very nice and sunny over looking the river ouse its was my first time at The Ark next time I visit i'll have something to eat with my partner so i can't comment on the food at this time! Friendly Staff and nice atmosphere setting outside disabled friendly with ramp for wheelchairs. There is a car park for the Ark but remember to read the car park sign before entering!
