“Rebecca supplied the most gorgeous flowers for our wedding. From the very first Zoom call, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is. She advised on which flowers would likely be in bloom at the time of our wedding and carefully talked through different varieties and colours to make sure everything matched our theme. She also created a thoughtful design portfolio with photos and ideas, which was really helpful to revisit during the planning process. Rebecca made my bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, and buttonholes, and also supplied buckets of flowers so we could arrange our own venue flowers. My bouquet was even more beautiful than imagined, filled with stunning British-grown blooms. The buckets were overflowing with flowers, I was so impressed with how many she fitted in. We had so many different varieties and textures. Her sustainable approach was also hugely evident, she kindly offered a selection of florist vases and props to borrow for just a deposit, which was such a thoughtful alternative to buying everything new. In the week before the wedding, when the summer weather had made delphiniums hard to source, Rebecca stayed in touch and suggested alternatives. On the day of delivery, she went above and beyond by managing to find some after all, making a special trip to one of her suppliers. That extra effort made such a difference and the delphiniums were so tall and amazing! So many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Working with Rebecca was a pleasure from start to finish and one of the highlights of the wedding planning process. She is friendly, professional, and talented, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“Went for dinner in 1215 last night, to celebrate an Anniversary. The food was absolutely exquisite (but perhaps I expected that). What made the evening so Incredibly special was the staff. Without exception they were warm, welcoming and really seemed to go the extra mile to ensure our evening was special. We were so grateful to receive such wonderful care -and are already planning our return, but will add an overnight stay next time! I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. “We had bought an air fryer about a year ago but unfortunately had a problem with it and needed to return it. I phoned the store and spoke to a lady whose name was Caroline, I told her the problem and she apologised and then asked if I had the receipt so that I could return the product. I had not kept the receipt but instead of that being the end of the matter she asked for the details from my Lakeland card and then trawled through the system and found my purchase. As I could not get to the store that day she said that she would leave the details at the tills and inform her colleagues. I went to the store the next day and on speaking to a member of staff at the till, (sorry I did not take her name but on a new till receipt her operator number is 5180088) and she was aware of me coming in. I returned the product without any quibble and when I asked for a straight swap, although I wanted to change brands and pay extra, she advised me to take a refund instead and then buy the new product so that I got the full 3 year warranty which I did and then she told me that I had a £30 voucher on my card which I did not know and used to complete the purchase. The customer service that I received and the friendliness of both members of staff was excellent and I would formally like to congratulate them and the store in a manner that in my opinion went above and beyond what they could have done.
