“I came back to Abu Zaad after 20 years and the place is as amazing as I remember it from before. The food was fantastic and the ambience great. Decor provides an authentic Middle Eastern feel. “This is a relatively large Lidl with a lot of excellent produce. The quality of their meat, especially the more expensive matured steaks, is excellent. One of the best things about coming here is that they make fresh bread and pastries throughout the day. Time your visit and you have a choice of the most delicious hot bread or pastries; continental style. The fruit and vegetables are fresh here. This Lidl also has special offers on items which vary from things like clothes, gadgets, tools, household items etc on Sundays and Thursdays. Best of all, the prices are cheap and the place does not break the bank. They now accept credit cards, except American Express. Finally, parking spaces are a big premium here. The car park, unfortunately, is always pretty full and this may put off some visitors.”
