They work so hard even with kids who are apprehensive at first, and are gentle and encouraging, winning their trust over time. Have done messy monkeys, drama and cooking classes here for a long time. “A lovely and caring local nursey. My son has been there since he was nine months old. I took him out to another nursery for a few months in the summer thinking that he would enjoy bigger garden space but he never did. We returned to SBS and he's been happy since. They organise Christmas play and summer activities allowing parents to join. My kid sometimes sings Christmas songs at home and I know that he's been practising for the Christmas play. Another plus is that parents in the nursery know each other because there is a playground just right outside of the nursery and plenty of opportunity for parents to exchange info during pick up time. I would recommend SBS.”

“My daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now when she was 11 months old and I always find her cheerful there - it feels like a second home to her. I would like to say this is one of the best childcare centres in this area. I was very skeptical initially as a mum to leave my daughter the whole day (10hours). All the staff members Veerpal, Dale, Shazia, Tahira, etc including the head teacher Himanshu are so nurturing, supportive, caring, attentive, kind and helpful to her as well as the other babies. I have always found the key worker Veerpal to be very communicative about my daughter's progress (including the online updates about her progress) and the way she allowed my daughter to take her time to settle in. Whenever I needed any kind of adjustments the whole staff including admin team was always supportive and efficient. The staff do invest a lot of time, effort and patience to allow babies to explore and be independent. I was surprised when I saw my daughter wanting to drink water/milk in a cup on her own without spilling, Building sand castles, messy plays, spending a good amount of time daily in the garden, allowing babies to make individual decisions, making shapes out of play dough, exploring natural materials and nature, singing various rhymes and describing the characters from the story, etc They do have a lot of extra activities for kids accompanied by parents. A yearly outdoor (farm) trip for the kids and parents. Visits to religious places accompanied by parents, obstacle course, etc I have seen a lot of improvements and her skills being enhanced each time. I would highly recommend the Grove house infant centre to anyone looking for a childcare / nursery in the area.”

“Monira is an outstanding (and award winning!) childminder and we feel very lucky to have been able to have our son attend her setting from 9 months - and soon his sibling will also be attending. The setting provides safe and professional care, and a loving family atmosphere in which all the current kids are thriving. Monira is a child whisperer, adored by all the kids and always thinking of interesting new activities for them and how best to help the older kids learn new skills. Recommended without hesitation.”

“My son started attending the nursery when he turned 2. He had a speech delay and struggled with social play. It only took a month for me to see how much of an astounding effect Ihsan had on my son. He started talking more, playing with other kids, listening to instructions etc and a major part of this development was the staff at Ihsan nursery. They also supported him with the local SENCO and support plan meetings with me and his key carer. This made me feel so assured that the areas where my son needs assistance in developing would be focused on and worked on during his time at nursery. It wasn’t just as if I was leaving my son with babysitters but I was taking him to a nursery that actually considers and really cares about helping children develop essential skills and qualities that will help them for the rest of their lives. I also used to take my twin daughters to the stay and play from when they were around 1 till they were ready to join the nursery. They absolutely loved it. I would go almost everyday and they had different themed activities, friendly staff and a clear routine (play, clean up, circle time) which really helped my daughters once they started nursery at Ihsan. My kids love it at Ihsan and I’m so proud that they are part of the Ihsan family.”

My daughter also has a strong bond with Pam and all the staff there. And you can tell they love her also. And it's genuine she loves this nursery. She looks forward to going there every day. She's made friends. The manager, Natasha Garrick, is very approachable with her welcoming manner it makes the experience all more rewarding. I see them as our extended family. “My daughter loves going to this nursery. They always welcome her with the biggest smile and make her feel special every time. My daughter has learnt so much since being there for the last year or so. She has become more confident and her breath of vocabulary has most definitely widened because of their teaching. When she comes home she is always repeating songs they sing during circle time. I would highly recommend this nursery as not only do they support the child to progress but also give really good advice to parents regarding potty training etc. Whenever I pick my daughter up I love how nicely the children play together and enjoys playing with her friends.”

My child struggled to settle in a previous nursery, but here he quickly felt comfortable and was happily staying for 5 hours. “The one oclock club is like the dream backgarden but of your best friends house so you don’t have to tidy up! Your children can run wild with no shoes, get wonderfully wet and grubby and generally have a bit of a 90s childhood experience. There a thousand different toys to play and experiment. I’ve got a 4 year old and a 1 year old and it suits them both perfectly. They can explore the space independently and it’s the perfect size for me to keep an eye on them without hovering over them. We love it!”
