“I had gender transitional top surgery (double mastectomy) at the Cadogan clinic with Mr El Gammal and it was all round an amazing experience. He is a very calm, kind and accepting man. He made me feel comfortable and validated throughout the process. He showed me relevant pictures and gave me good advice during my consultations. The other staff I came into contact with throughout the process were all lovely and really helpful, including Irena James who always responded to every email. I didn't see Mr El Gammal much during the actual day of the surgery but the rest of the staff really kept up the amazing bedside manner, keeping me calm and comfortable the whole time. The staff post surgery and during check ups were also amazing. I saw a different person each time which I didn't mind especially as they were all so good and so lovely. The results are amazing, I've healed so well, everyone I show is shocked that it's only been six weeks, shocked how small the scars are, shocked how neat it all is. During my final appointment Mr El Gammal once again kept me feeling validated and seemed proud of his work which is a wonderful feeling to have as well. I have recommended him to a friend who is looking for the same surgery and I would confidently recommend him to anyone, trans gender or otherwise, who is looking to have breast surgery.”

“Prof Zoe Winters is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a consultant, with such outstanding quality of medical care, that combines such personal touches and care for a patient. She always put me at ease when I saw her and really took the time to explain things to me.
