Soon after I then met Sean who not only showed me the flat I requested to see but also another that was also available nearby so I could compare. I expressed interest in the flat and Sean got things going very quickly and kept me informed. The application process was made very easy by Michelle and this was completed with minimal effort required on my part. Any problems in the flat have been sorted by Homes & Co quickly and efficiently. They handle all communication with the landlord and arrange all plumber/contractor call outs where appropriate. During the flat inspections the agent who visits is very helpful with a variety of things including reminding me what rights I have as a tenant in case there was a problem with my landlord (which I have not needed to exercise). “July 29th, 2023 we were in from New York staying at the hotel across the street so this was the closest place to get something to eat, especially at odd hours. Pros 1. Heather was extremely friendly and welcoming 2. James helped us get an excellent meal right before the kitchen closed for the night, they could have said no the kitchen was closed but they didn’t. 3. The food always hit the spot, and I was never disappointed 4. The ambiance and atmosphere were beautiful 5. It was never too busy, and great portion sizes Cons 1. “I moved to Virgin Active Repton Park in January after spending 5 years at Nuffield Health, and the difference has been a complete revelation. Nuffield raised prices twice in a year, removed key facilities like the jacuzzi without offering any discount, and the overall atmosphere — especially with some PTs — felt disrespectful and unfair. That experience pushed me to leave. Virgin Active has been the opposite in every way. From the gated community car park where you know your car is safe, to the friendly and welcoming reception team who greet you with a smile and provide fresh towels on every visit, the hospitality here is on another level. The locker rooms are a bit outdated and could use a modern refresh, but they’re always clean. The gym floor is great, though I do wish it had a bit more space and additional machines — especially a dedicated bicep machine. The real highlight of this club is the spa area. The sauna and steam room were recently renovated and are consistently in perfect working condition. The jacuzzi is incredibly relaxing, and the swimming pool is huge. As someone who’s been bodybuilding for over 10 years, having high-quality recovery facilities makes a massive difference. The architecture of the building is beautiful — transforming an old church into a gym gives the whole place a unique, almost royal feel. Overall, Virgin Active Repton Park delivers exceptional value, atmosphere, and service. Easily one of the best fitness clubs I’ve ever been a part of.”

Room was clean and warm .breakfast staff went out their way to help my partner when i was not there to help her ( she uses a walking stick ) the lady who cleaned and tidied our room was great and the reception staff friendly and helpful. its a nice touch that the hotel provide both bed and bowls for dog owners like ourselves at no extra charge .
