“HIDDEN GEM HELLOOO?!? The photo truly speaks for itself. It was so delicious and really tasted like it was made out of love! We came here once before and were given some sweet goodies as a kind gesture, it really stuck with us so obviously we had to make sure to come back. This time we were treated with the same warm welcome and kindness. The man who works at the till is such a sweetheart, always so attentive to the customers and never fails to put a smile on our face before we leave, he really makes up for most of our experience. Love love love! 100% recommend this place ❤️”

“Coffee Break feels like it hasn't moved forward from 2005, but in the best way possible. The decor is full of black and white photos of old movie stars (Charlie Chaplin, Marylin Monroe, James Dean, etc) and the corner television was running 90's music videos the entire time I had my breakfast. And the breakfast- It was beautiful. I ordered a Small English Breakfast and the portions were exactly what I needed. Don't worry, they also had a Full English. But the Small was a single egg, sausage, 2 bacon, a perfectly fried hashbrown, beans, and toast. For someone like me who loves English Breakfast but would like to move at some point later in the same day this was a great set. The service here was wonderful as well. My own plate came out perfectly but when a table nearby had a cheeseburger come out with less cheese than expected the reply from the waitress was simply, "of course, no worries, more cheese" and more cheese was added (as well as the requisite sauces). The Mediterranean and special fares are also worth trying out. The special is a Lentil Soup as I write and it smells wonderful. Overall a perfect spot just off the main road in Wood Green, and perfect for breakfast and lunch in a much quieter spot than trying more popular cafes down the high street.”

“A cold and slightly rainy Sunday morning deserves a coffee and walnut cake, with a cappuccino, right? Both were lovely, and one of the young ladies from the staff there asking how the coffee and cake were is a nice welcoming gesture. There’s a play area at the back of the shop (which I didn’t photo as there are children playing there) and the overall ambience was pleasant.”

“Consistently the best coffee in Royal Arsenal. It doesn't matter who serves you, what time of day it is, or what you order: this is the best quality coffee on the development. Great service, which is quick, yet always personable and never feels rushed.”

“I've been going to this little cafe for the past 3 years, every 2 months. It's kind of my relaxation spot, and every time I go, i feel at home. The place is extremely cosy, the staff are second to none with friendliness, and the food just tastes and feels like homemade comfort food. The best cappuccino I've ever had with loads of thick foam. The music and atmosphere are so relaxing and always feel recharged after a breakfast there. Would highly recommend it.”

“Clearly the best coffee shop, or actually a shop in wide area of Thornton Heath. Coffee is excellent, sandwiches too and decor is decent. Service is warm and friendly. Usually I get served by lovely Kaszia, who is very professional and quick at all times. Today Renata was there too, so what else to say? You've got some great team there :) All the best. V”

“I was early for work and couldn't access the building I needed. So I had a quick look for a coffee and a small bite to eat and spotted this little cafe. It was fairly quiet for a Monday morning, which was a surprise. I had just a coffee and croissant with cannelloni. Both were fresh and tasted great. The price was reasonable, considering I would have paid almost twice as much at most mainstream brands for a coffee alone.”

“This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. I'd give it more stars if it was possible.”

“Wonderful cafe, friendly people and warm welcome. Probably the best cafe in the area and the coffee is delicious. The cakes could be a bit better/fresher and possibly sandwich options but apart from this it is a lovely place to come and such a nice mix of age ranges with everyone welcome.”

“Gina's Bakery is a real gem in Arnos Grove. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel welcome with their warm and friendly service. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a hearty meal. The food is always fresh and delicious-think full English breakfasts, sandwiches, and other homemade favourites, all cooked with care and served in generous portions. Their coffee is excellent too, smooth and rich, and everything is reasonably priced, making it great value for money. What keeps me coming back is the consistency: tasty food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere every single time. Gina's Bakery is more than just a café-it's a local favourite, and I can't recommend it highly enough.”

“Ewelina and her staff are amazing. Friendly, professional and the coffee is always made to a high standard. Although I don’t live in Datchet, I will happily drive there most days as they treat their customers with genuine warmth. What puzzles me though is why the outside area at the rear is not used hardly. A lot of passersby and cyclists often stop but go away as it’s either too busy or there is a lack of sitting. There is quite a bit of room and if new and updated furniture were invested I can see a lot of customers using this area and it would attract new customers especially with bicycles.”

“Doppio always has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff have a positive attitude at all times. Whether I'm having conversations with employees, studying, or catching up with friends, the environment in the cafe is always enjoyable. The cafe itself also has a really nice vibe to it and looks great. Most importantly, their coffee is consistent and delicious. Would recommend to all coffee connoisseurs!”

“We had an amazing brunch at Grind! A big thank you to the wonderful team who took such great care of us and a special shout-out to Chef Antonakis Spiros and the bartender Stefano. We tried the Buttermilk Burger, Courgette & Sweet Corn Fritters, and for dessert, the marvelous pancakes , everything was spot on and delicious! The buttermilk chicken burger, pancakes, and cappuccino were definitely the highlights. We also saw Stefano crafting some incredible cocktails , they all looked amazing, and next time we’re 100% coming back for them!”

“I have used this family run cafe for over five years & would recommend anyone to visit. The atmosphere is lovely & the staff are really helpful & friendly. The food is great with a good menu choice. Seating available outside under cover as well. One really big plus for me personally is that it does not smell greasy when you walk in & is always clean & tidy. Food is always fresh & staff greet you with a smile when you walk in. It is well worth the drive from Lewisham when you know you will always get a good meal.”

“A brilliant place to get your early morning wake up juice... really really great coffee and they are very welcoming and helpful with your order too -- making sure the precious coffee is served just right. They are also very lovely to my dog and have a scruffle and a treat ready for her as soon as she's in sight. She's convinced we go there for her!”
