Ash looks after me from beginning to end and has turned around a really badly cut haircut to one of a precision and styled cut. While he’s at it he also does my beard, eyebrows etc. All in all a friendly place, but more importantly, really skilled and professional barbers !”

“I recently had the opportunity to try a burger and fries from Smash Hut, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The burger was cooked to perfection with a juicy patty and all the toppings I love - lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a special sauce. The bun was soft and held everything together perfectly. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and were seasoned just right. Not only was the food delicious, with a perfectly cooked patty and all my favorite toppings, but the pricing was great as well. The burger and fries were affordably priced and a great value for the quality of the meal. I would definitely recommend giving this burger and fries a try - you won't be disappointed! I will be back a lot!!!”

“I have a 16 year old Saab which I've had since almost new. It runs great, has very low mileage and is more valuable to us as a spare car than selling it and shelling out tens of thousands to buy something more up to date. Although a great car, it was beginning to look quite tired and show its age in a couple of places. The alloy wheels were definitely making it look shabbier than need be. Not being worth much financially, I was in two minds about putting money into cosmetic improvements. Then I came across Daniel and FixMyAlloys. I sent photos of the wheels, agreed that a complete overhaul was the way to go, and for £65 per alloy and 4 days with Daniel and his team, I have some amazing looking wheels again - just like new. Nothing fancy or over the top, just refurbished to a factory finish and all handled very professionally. I was wrong to think it was a bad idea to put money into cosmetic improvements in this case. With an otherwise great condition car, this improvement has made the car look very clean and quite respectable again and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Highly recommended.”

The food is absolutely DELICIOUS (I recommend the soup with fresh Artisan bread) and the prices are remarkably reasonable (£4 for a generous quantity). “It's a great place to work and study due to its stable Wi-Fi. The staff is always smiley and the coffee they serve is decent and fair-priced. The only drawback is they close at 5pm which is quite early. I tried espresso, latte, and cappuccino and enjoyed all.”

A special mention to Annabelle the outstanding nurse in the Oak ward, nothing was too much trouble for her, she made my stay as comfortable as possible and for this I am most grateful. Everyone in the lab were absolutely amazing too, too many to mention and very much appreciated.”
