Quality dining experience in Borehamwood

“So this is the first time I have ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. I must admit I was most impressed! I am rather fussy ( as my parents were from Delhi) being brought up and cooking lamb curry from scratch this was a wonderful haven ! The closest in borehamwood I have tasted to curry at home. Most recommend please give it a try !”

“This is such a wonderful, traditional pub. I had lunch with my brother & nephew last Wednesday, for my birthday. Thanks to Sunny, who was working in the shop and he was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect with our order. The staff were very helpful and friendly. “Amazing food and great service. The 2 of us enjoyed a starter, king Prawns and calamari, and main course each, spaghetti with king Prawns and penne with salmon. All dishes presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Best Italian food compared to Zizzi and Pizza Express. Staff were friendly yet professional especially Melania who served us, always a smile on her face. Highly recommended and will definitely come again soon.”

“Great little store and addition to Borehamwood. Saved me having to go to Friern Barnet for paint. Don't know why they didn't do this ages ago, as this area has no decent hardware stores (except Wickes, but their range of paint is pretty poor). I got friendly service from the lady on the till.”

Andras was great in designing with us and the installation just looks such great quality. Definitely use Dexes rather than a High Street brand as they really care about their product. “Stopped here for a solo dinner while working in the area — really glad I did. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure I was well looked after. I had the mixed grill, which was excellent — generous portion with a great variety of meats to try, all cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The food overall was great and not terribly priced for the quality and portion size. A very enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely return next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Turkish food and warm, friendly service.”

My kids love the mac n cheese- and it’s proper home made food with real ingredients. I had a delicious salad with roasted beetroot and fennel, adding on halloumi cheese. Always so much fun to watch the flying lessons with my girls.”

“We came here for dinner with friends and wow it was amazing! They have recently done a refurb and the place looks great. We had some platters to share, finished with chocolate orange tart, and a pear tart - both 10000/10! Would highly recommend. “Having just bought a brand new house, my husband and I had been looking everywhere for a nice dining set and matching living room furniture for both the kitchen and for our dining/living room. The meat in the lamprais was exceptionally good, it was a generous portion and was very flavourful.
