“We have always been a regular at strand cafe and it was recently taken over by new owners. They still do a lovely breakfast menu, and Thai food but the place has been beautifully renovated. Had a chicken salad which was fresh and tasty, and the cafe manager was so welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be back!”

The food, whoa.. fabulous! No frills, only serious chow. Pocket friendly, with an interesting menu and super delicious nosh. Service is efficient. They take cash and cards. Go try their competitively priced lunch sets. Recommend the chicken udon set. .. comes with miso soup and delicious spring rolls. The spring rolls with the accompanying chili sauce, as well as the stir fried pork with basil and chili were delicious and helped fulfil my Thai food cravings. “Came here tonight because a friend of ours recommended it - and it did not disappoint. The pad Thai is absolutely amazing and the Massaman chicken curry was also very lovely although not very spicy. The place got really busy around tea time so make sure you arrive early if you haven’t booked. The prices are definitely reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely. Staff are very attentive and kind! “Absolutely gorgeous Thai food. The gyozas were so crispy and well-filled and the dipping sauce brought a lovely sour saltiness to the dish. We ordered the Pad Thai and chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were absolutely lovely, warming, and generously portioned. Upon request the chefs were more than happy to add chicken to my dish although not on the menu and I greatly appreciated how welcoming and attentive the servers were throughout.”
