“A lovely little place tucked away by Surbiton station with a vast array of vegatarian options and a cosy, friendly feel. I had Foul-bil-Laban and a mint tea, both of which arrived quickly. My meal was not only delicious, super flavourful and fresh tasting, but a very generous portion! If you're looking for a light snack, they have your classic pastries & cakes, smoothies and a delicious granola bowl. But the Thai curries are definitely the standout and a must-try. The cafe also sells handmade ceramics and crafts which adds a unique and creative ambient to the space. Staff are always welcoming and hospitable and even on a busy day, they keep calm and collected. “The oldest cafe in nw London where the owners have remained the same since the late 1950s. Lovely owners and a real retro feel, albeit a lot less busy than it used to be. This is due to the change in the community, but if you have not been here you should attend before its too late. The owner is from Cyprus and is a wonderful man. No frozen chips in sight and no cheaper and bland produce served here...and the prices are as still so fair and reasonable. God bless the owner and staff who have remained despite the local area now not really being conclusive for a thriving business in a place where you used to struggle to get a seat and table sharing was normal ! . Go before its too late!”
