“Very nice coffee shop within the court yard of the Oakland Rise apartments. It's very hidden away from anyone outside the apartment area. The atmosphere inside is a very nice, slightly industrial setting with an open floor area where small events are held. It was quiet during my visit, with some music playing in the background. The coffee is good, and there is an option for plant milk. There are also some vegan options for some small food items. The staff is very nice. A true hidden gem.”

“Found this local gem at wapping., and went in for the 1st time last night and was an absolute delight. Good vibe with friendly stuff , and menu is simple and authentic. Had the spicy Diavola pizza with njuja sausages. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside light and airy inside.The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful, and the real star is the real star was the spicy salami and njuja. The mozzarella was creamy and the touch of house-made chili oil tied everything together beautifully. Each bite was a great sensation, just like what I remembered the Neaplotian pizza had back in Naples. Another notes is they have pretty good aperitif drinks menu. Highly recommended”

“Hands down the best tortillas in all of London, and best tacos de carnitas too! Handmade blue corn tortillas really make the taco, and the fillings don’t disappoint. We tried tinga de pollo, pollo con mole, and chicharrón prensado. All of them were really good, but the absolute best were the tacos de carnitas. Deliciously moreish, so good we had to take some home, along with a couple dozen tortillas and salsa. Tere kindly packed carnitas and toppings for us, which we had today at home. And now I’m completely hooked, I’ll have go back for more soon. If you have a gathering at home (from a few guests to a big party), you can preorder tortillas, fillings, and toppings and you’ll impress everyone. The service is warm and attentive, and Tere makes everyone’s visit special. ¡Gracias! P.S. I’m from Mexico City. Some reviews have been critical of the ambience and waiting times. This is a market food stall, like the best ones in Mexico City, and there’s a special charm in that. As for waiting times, they are quite quick for London, way faster than any pub. “Recently rebranded with new owners, and whilst i hate to see the previous owners go (as I have lived nearby my whole life and practically grown up going to this shop), the new ones have done an amazing job at keeping the standard! The quality of the chicken wings has drastically gone up since the rebranding, they brought back chicken donner and they didn't remove any of my favourites from the menu. “We have been regular customers way before they got their alcohol license. I feel so sad that they had to change their menu to cope with the demand of the area. I really like their cooked meals like the goulash soup, chicken paprikas, beef stew and the chimney cakes. Langos is good too, I mean they have the garlic flavouring which I wasn't able to find in Budapest. The Palinka that they sell is good quality. The stuffed pepper with cabbage pickles is the best, hope they bring it back to the menu. I hope that the business gets better. I totally recommended this place.”
