“Cafe run by charity Mencap - fantastic initiative to give people with learning disabilities the chance to learn skills in catering, customer services and hospitality. I have never eaten there but just had a quick coffee / kids snacks - it doesn't feel that warm and cosy to me, so I've never been tempted to linger too long. My suggestion would be to remove the PCs and introduce some sofas and perhaps some toys or games. Not sure how feasible that would be!”

“A real gem of a cafe in the heart of Welling high street. Been coming here for years, whenever I’m in town. Food is really good, always cooked well with lovely staff. You can tell a good cafe when it has regulars that ask for the usual. Everyone made welcome, looked after etc. Great coffee too”

“Superb coffee! Their bean selection is on-point and great roast. And the park and surroundings couldn’t be more perfect! You can grab a snack from this cafe or pack a picnic and enjoy while camping on the grass.”

“Lovely traditional pub in the heart of beautiful Hampstead. We didn't eat but came here for a drink after a lovely afternoon walk on the Heath. Standard selection of beers and wines and friendly service. Definitely be back...and for food next time round”

“I've just had the chance to try one of the feta cheese "rogche" and I was actually quite surprised that it was way more delicious than the one I last tried back home. Very friendly and charming girls at the till, that make you feel like home atmosphere. The coffee tastes very delicious too and can highly recommend anyone to try the variety of all the delicious treats they have. Thank you, will definitely visit again. “Walked in late lunch. Ordered bacon and egg soft bap. After debating which bread I wanted roll, sandwich or soft bap. Has got to be one of the best and reasonably priced lunch break for a long time. Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“This has become one of my favourite neighbourhood spots. The atmosphere is warm and cosy- perfect for an evening catch-up or an easy mid-week dinner. The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“We visited Rust Bucket Pizza Co and were very impressed with the food. The pizza is some of the best I've tasted and had perfect air bubbles in the bread. We had a pizza with a burrata on it, what a treat, also a pepperoni which was delicious. The kids pizza was also very nice. The restaurant is in a covered outdoor area of the pub however the quality of pizza more than makes up for this. There is access to the pub and the pub garden with a play area. The play area and garden is only suitable for older toddlers+ due to being unkept. The service was reasonably good and the reception was very welcoming. If this setup was in a restaurant and not attached to a ropey pub I would have happily given it a five star rating.”

“Arguably the best pub in Putney. Independently owned pub with a constantly rotating selection of great beers and ales, friendly service, and board games available which is always nice! There is a small beer garden if you are a smoker, but I wouldn’t bank on getting a seat. Also, staff are always friendly and helpful in recommending a good drink!”
