“What a delightful oasis this coffee shop is located in Loughton. It's a family run business and a great place to drop into for a coffee and a chat. Not only that the food is great....breakfast and lunch both 1st class. If u fancy a salt beef sandwich u will not get better anywhere in the south of England. “Really impressed with the quality of the food. Poached chicken tarragon ciabatta was very good. Soft chicken, top flavours. Turkish ciabatta (lamb sausage, ham and egg) was brilliant. Very different. Both ciabattas were well filled. Very good prices too, you're looking about 50% cheaper than molans for as good if not better quality. Staff were great and really food with the baby.”

The menu is packed with options, from hearty sandwiches to fresh salads and comforting classics. I went for the Chicken Escalope sandwich, and it was on point – tender, perfectly cooked chicken in a soft granary roll with crisp lettuce, cucumber, and a zesty lemon mayo that made every bite pop. My buddy chose the lasagna, served piping hot with golden fries and a fresh side salad – classic comfort food done right. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and bold flavors. The staff were a real highlight – super friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Joseph, in particular, stood out, greeting us with a genuine smile and keeping everything running smoothly, even as the place hummed with lunchtime diners. “We held my son's 4th birthday here on Sunday and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The owners are so helpful, organised and make everything very easy. On the day I didn't have to think of anything but bringing the cake and balloons - they served a great buffet for the kids, cut the cake and packed it into the party bags. My son and his friends had an amazing time together and I can't thank the team here enough. Highly recommend.”

“Best Subway I have been into. Light and airy, very welcoming and clean, with the great smell of the freshly baked bread! Phenomenal work from Rajeev, a really personable manager of the store who supported us with our coeliac (gluten free intolerant party) whilst navigating multiple online delivery orders at the same time. Rajeev is a star and very grateful for the service - really made our experience beyond pleasant, the best Subway I have ever visited! The ratio of the salad to filling and sauce (plentiful southwest!!!) was phenomenal. Thank you Rajeev. Never knew 4pm on a Sunday could be so busy!! :) really loved the waffle fries and hash browns too, able to give lots of sauce. Thank you Rajeev”
