“The staff are friendly and attentive, making it a great place to work. There’s air conditioning, and they also help with the Wi-Fi. I tried the matcha and the matcha cake both were delicious. I would definitely go again.”
“Been in here a few times now since moving to the area and I love it so far. Both of the staff members that I’ve been served by have been really accommodating and friendly. Definitely going to be a regular spot I visit I think. Almond crossiant was by far the best thing & coffee was good too. Wish they had more brunch options but other than that, really good!”
“I come here to buy coffee beans for our espresso machine — highly recommend the ‘Estate’ variety. Never considered myself a coffee snob but I can’t go near other beans now.”
“The food here is really delicious and affordable. Fully Halal. I ordered the lasagne and my hubby got the mega breakfast. Really enjoyed the lasagne, that was a favourite amongst us both. The service is really friendly and you don’t have to wait long for the food. There’s off street parking that’s free Sat to Sunday and other days you can pay.”
“Great atmosphere and serves at Al Gusto. Went for a brunch with my friend and from the start to finish we had a great service no matter whoever served us. All waiting staff attending and food it's absolutely delicious! There is a amazing menu to choose from from brunch to lunch or dinner with vegetarian options too. We had a Bacon & Avocado and Shirred Eggs (super tasty), along with their natural juice each. We topped up with marble cake with vanilla ice cream, which was okay. Overall, great place for weekend brunch, with good atmosphere and places to sit inside or outside. Highly recommended!”
“Very good seating area for eating and drinking, air-conditioned, free Wi-Fi, toilet is available. Free parking for 1.5 hours”
“It was a sunny Sunday when I visited here. The atmosphere was amazing. Polite and welcoming staff. Good quality food, freshly cooked on site and reasonably priced. Great coffee too. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Have facilities at the back.”
“Excellent cafe. Really warm welcome from friendly and efficient staff. Massive menu of the usual cafe items with some nice Mediterranean/Turkish elements. I had the Mediterranean Omelette and it was really tasty with nice fresh salad”
“Great old school cafe in the very posh Parsons Green. Food is great value for money and they are very generous with the portions, perfect for a hangover. Good to see a cafe like this still open in this day and age, very relaxed unpretentious atmosphere. Bonus marks for having a TV showing the Italian Job (original Michael Caine version) which entertained me whilst I waited for my mate.”
“I went today for the first time and I will definitely be coming back here many more times. I had an amazing omelette which tasted so good. Great value for money and great service. I would definitely recommend!!”
“A pleasant café within the Camden Art Centre with seating inside and outside in the garden. There were three types of salad available when we went - a large portion of the bean and fennel salad was good for both of us, followed by a slice of excellent cake.”
“Wow! Amazing sandwich. Chicken, avocado and sun dried tomato on sourdough. Delicious and enormous. Only £5. My only concern was I think the price was too low in this crazy world we live in. It was worth £6.50. thank you so much. I will be back!!! No photos to add as took away and it is very happily nestling in my belly!!!”
“Food was tasty. Lovely kind lady behind the counter. I overheard two customers without cash so I'm sure the lady could earn a lot more cash by accepting card via a app. The signage is old and taped on so just needs a few things and I'm sure all the trendy types will flock here. Thank you for the food. Oh yeah some burger sauce for the chips (it's lovely)”
“Feels like home, nice coffee nice food”
“I come to the cafe everyday. Amazing service, food and drinks. The girl Claudia behind the counter is so friendly and very chatty. Superb service from all the youngsters every day!!”
“good student run cafe. drinks, sandwiches, and pastries are all yum and fairly priced. nice place to study with friends”
“Great customer service. Best coffee in E14 so far. Best Brazilian cheese bread that I've tried in London .”
“We love coming to eat here, all the drinks are lovely as well as the food and staff are very friendly too. Thank you for always looking after us”
“Truly sensational! Piccione - chargrilled, spatchcocked Pigeon marinated in chianti classico and autumn herbs with Coco Bianchi and chicken liver crostino was meticulously executed and this particular dish so memorable. Yeah that didn't sound like food review because it was beyond just cooking and presenting tasty food. I enjoyed the precision of the cooked food. No diner would miss the point. I had to admit I was a bit skeptical when primi was served with no presentation at all, but I guess that was the chef's statement of unpretentious food. Loved the tiramisu, too, a real proper one, not any layered sugary cake using that name to confuse the market.”
“Visited Bertram’s today with my friend for a light lunch. We both had tea and the most delicious Polish apple cake and custard. The garden centre is lovely but I’d visit again just for the pie!”
“My local cafe and food has always been very nice with friendly staff. Ham and cheese omelette is a personal favourite!”
“Love this place, been a few times and tte food is great. Staff are really friendly also.”
“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”
“Very relaxed cafe, visit here once in a while when I go for a walk through the park. Sometimes visit with my friend who uses a device to speak and the staff are always so patient and helpful when we are there! Decent coffee and food too.”
“Went for an early pre-ballet dinner and had a lovely time. Food was excellent and so was service, and it the restaurant had nice ambient music at a really good volume, could keep conversation without having to raise our voices!! Really nice spot.”
“Wonderful coffee, lovely quiet atmosphere. Perfect for escaping and relaxing. Highly recommend ☕️”
“Indulged in a slice of their chocolate layered cake, and it was every bit as delicious as it looked. The cake was rich, dense, and incredibly moist. While the price of £4.50 per slice is higher than other local cake shops, it's definitely worth it. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a clear price display for all items, ensuring customers are fully informed before purchasing.”
“I have recently started going to café chai and what a great new halal café in Thornton heath. Long overdue wait for a decent café in my local area. This is my new go to place for my breakfast! I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate! Tariq is very welcoming and can accommodate to what you want to eat for those fussy eaters! I definitely recommend going there and I will be bringing more customers to him! It’s a must try café. Service and food are really good. Here’s a insta worthy pic of my full English too!”
“M&S Café in Richmond Park is the perfect place to take a break after a stroll in the beautiful park. The café offers a great selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, and, of course, excellent coffee. The setting is clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and large windows that let in natural light. The customer service is exceptional—staff are friendly, attentive, and always greet you with a smile. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, which adds a personal touch to the experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or relaxing with a coffee, it’s always a pleasant visit.”
“Lovely staff, delicious food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!”
