“The best place in Wimbledon! Amazing food, amazing prices, nice guy! Please come and support the local business, you won't regret it!”
“Only popped in for a bottle of water after train delays at New Eltham. The staff were lovely and chatty to everyone in there and it was a very good atmosphere when everyone was stressing about the trains, very relaxing. Will be sure to come in for a Guinness soon!”
“Great coffee, great atmosphere, good place for a chat. Sam, Rosie and Karla have been wonderful over the years. Best Coffee in Sutton!!”
“Just randomly came across this place and think it's a really cool hidden gem! The food was incredibly tasty, fresh healthy. Lovely coffee too! Above all the staff were incredibly friendly and service was fantastic. Will be back!”
“Overall: ★★★★★ Raynes Park’s finest independent coffee shop serving up Curious Roo coffee and some mighty fine fresh pastries. It’s immaculate despite being small yet it’s child and dog friendly and has a warm, welcoming vibrant atmosphere. Get in, grab a table and enjoy your coffee! This is how a coffee shop should be. Food: Coffee shop What I liked: • Really welcoming • Bright yet comfortable atmosphere • Great coffee • Small well thought out food selection • Fair price point What I didn’t like: Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? YES Price Point: $”
“Little gem on Fulham Palace Road! This is an independent café offering great speciality coffee (the owner, Chris, specialises in latte art and has created an extensive menu of coffee and non-coffee items, including great iced options). Its unique feature is to match the coffee offer with authentic Filipino cuisine which is made fresh on site every day. I tried the food on several occasions and I was always extremely satisfied with it! It’s great to be able to explore a different culinary culture, while sipping speciality coffee all along! Keep up with the great work guys!!!”
“I’ve been a regular at Butter Up Cafe in Tulse Hill for a year and it’s fantastic. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the staff—Jam, Alex, and Patch—are incredibly friendly. The environment is perfect for grabbing a coffee on the go or settling in to get some work done. I only tried their pastries once, but I hear their cinnamon buns is popular here. Open daily, this cafe is a local favourite worth checking out.”
“Food was delicious, staff were polite and accommodating, the cafe had a peaceful ambiance.”
“An absolutely lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food - a must visit if you're in the area”
“It was the most lovely and warm cafe during my trip to London from korea. I have a lot of good memories. It was a place where I went to find coffee in the morning, and it was so comfortable and warm where the staff and the people of the neighborhood greeted me warmly. I don't have much time, so I'm sorry I couldn't stop by again. I'll definitely stop by one more time!”
“This place has become the go to stop of a morning for me and my wife. Wonderful staff! Great coffee! Cakes galore!”
“Really lovely cafe with a cosy atmosphere , friendly staff — and the best matcha latte I've ever had (coming from a matcha enthusiast)! Although I didn't opt for any, the selection of food was vast and delicious looking, in addition to having vegan and gluten free options. I can't recommend this place enough.”
“Absolutely love this place. Food is so good and the staff are friendly, efficient and chatty. The cafe always feels clean and always has great atmosphere. Will continue to return and recommend! Best independently run cafe in the area.”
“Uniquely positioned, just off Hunton Bridge roundabout. Don’t let that deter you. Good parking off to the side, great socially-distanced seating. The Iced Americano with SF Vanilla syrup was lovely. Service was brilliant. Will make it a staple.”
“I was recently at Bobo and Wild Chigwell and grabbed a pistachio cinnamon bun for takeaway — and honestly, it was incredible ! The bun was super soft, perfectly sweet, and had a rich pistachio flavor that made it really unique. The balance between pistachio cream and bun was just unbelievable . Trust me it’s something special especially with their ginger tea on a freezing days.”
“Fred was so wonderful and friendly! It was a pleasure to hear him speak so warmly with me and other guests at the cafe. Everything I ate and drank was fantastic as well. Perfect spot for any traveler or local to stop for a bite :)”
“This place is OFF THE CHAIN! Best coffee in town other than their Earls Court branch (duh). Only good vibes in every coffee bean. Wouldn't start my morning commute without a brew from the guys at Over Under. Slamming service, smiles all round. Fresh fresh fresh”
“Rondor is a hidden gem. By far the best coffee in Fulham. The service is great, with very friendly staff, and they constantly have tasty offerings on the menu. A great coffee shop! Would recommend 10/10.”
“Great spot for relaxing! I took my baby here and he loved the fish tank. I have tried a few things on the menu and all tasted great. Look forward to having the pancakes next time. Would highly recommend for breakfast or a nice lunch and quiet glass of wine if you are in the mood :)”
“Hidden gem! We popped in for brunch - really quick service, great menu options and DELICIOUS food! Really good value. We had the courgette fritters and the smashed avocado, poached eggs and bacon on sourdough. Thank you!”
“CALLING ALL HACKNEY LAPTOP COFFEE SHOP TECH BROS — put down your overpriced laté and go check this place out!! It’s super friendly, has a view of the park, great coffee, food, internet, record player, and it’s warm and comfortable. And you’re funding a great local cause. Totally underrated!”
“Half way through a flat white and wow what a great independent coffee! This place is a true community outreach beacon. It must be preserved and invested into for the benefit to the youth, elderly and all park users.”
“Kaffa Coffee is a true gem – serving authentic Ethiopian coffee, fresh injera, and warming ginger tea made to order. The atmosphere is genuine, the staff are welcoming, and the prices are refreshingly fair. A healthy, tasty, and memorable experience every time.”
“Me and a colleague randomly walked past going back to work, so glad we poked our heads in! Fab selection of salads, we got 2 different hot dishes to try (both very yummy and tasty with fresh rice), we also got 2 different slices of cakes (both moist, fresh and again very tasty), 1 slice of spinach roll, and a ice latte. All tasted homely, fresh, and made with love. We will be back and will spread the word as we need this local gem!”
“We had delicious sweets and café in a large beautiful space. The muffins and egg tarts were delicious.”
“Best cut in the city for a Toy Poodle, i heard about this place by pure fluke and now i make sure i travel from the other side of London to get my dogs groomed with Statham's. Not only do they not miss a thing on the grooming aspect but my dog comeback actually happy and calm. (which has never happened before in my 3 years experience).”
“Formosa, what a shop: the beauty of the day! Just entering and seeing how clean and decorated everything was, it already indicated the exquisite level of the place and its products. Very good coffee, it's been a long time since I enjoyed it so much... The white chocolate makes my mouth water, I could easily eat twelve pieces in one go... The care of the staff couldn't be better, it's what I want, thank you for not finding yourself in one of those overcrowded stores... I will definitely return.”
“A really good experience. A cute little cafe run by a family so the care and effort in your food are evident. We had the lahori breakfast and full English breakfast. Both items were sufficient in size and felt good value for money.”
“The long line was worked through quickly and there were lots of options. The barista Nimi even checked the items I had grabbed to make sure they were of good quality before I purchased them. Well done!”
