“I’m Italian and so have high expectations when it comes to Italian food but this restaurant always exceeds my expectations. Last night I had the best pasta dish I’ve ever tasted (passatelli ascuitti alla norcina). The quality of the ingredients they use is second to none. It’s a lovely authentic family run business (Italian family from Marche) with incredible service and a calm atmosphere. This was my 4th time eating here and it never disappoints!”

“Excellent restaurant. Had lamb chops with saag bahji, started with prawn puri, all very good. Chops massive, but could've done with a bit more seasoning, in saying that, they were lovely. Very busy on a Saturday evening, with repeat customer's and take away orders Highly recommended. Paul”

“Very friendly,local restaurant the atmosphere is very hospitable, they make you feel welcome like you are a guest in their house, tantuni (£4.50) is very nice if don't know what it is it's basically a Turkish street food wrap where traditionally it's made from lamb minced and spices cooked in a oversized circular pan, they also do chicken, it is on the small side so you may have to order more than one. I also ordered homemade Ayran, which was very nice lightly salted (£3.50) and also ordered a kunafa (£8) which was very nice lots of cheese pull something to keep in mind it is a bit on the small side what is enough for two. Cash only”

I commenced my meal with the octopus and chorizo starter, which was expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The attentive and professional waiter provided excellent service throughout the evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was sophisticated and elegant, with a touch of class in the air. The background music consisted of 90's album tracks played at a moderate volume, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I then ordered the pork belly roast as my main course, which was accompanied by an exceptional amount of crackling and smooth, creamy mashed potatoes. Each bite was a delightful culinary experience, and I must commend the chef for their remarkable skill and attention to detail in preparing such high-quality food. Overall, the dining experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend this establishment for its outstanding cuisine and impeccable service.”

“My favourite Thai restaurant in North London. Great service and incredibly flavoured food. They have separate vegetarian and vegan menus. Be cautious with the vegetarian menu as they still include fish sauce in the currys. I highly recommend the Green or red curry, they have a good spice level and very good portion size.”

“Aksular was absolutely delightful! The spread was generous and beautifully presented from freshly baked simit and warm bread to rich cheeses, olives, honey with clotted cream, and a perfectly brewed Turkish tea. Every bite was full of authentic flavors that transported me straight to Turkey. The menemen (scrambled eggs with tomato and pepper) was especially delicious and creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The staff (Hatice) was very welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The cozy atmosphere and vibrant dishes made for a relaxing and satisfying morning. If you love hearty, flavorful breakfasts, I can’t recommend Aksular enough!”

“Excellent food ; We paid £60 for a large breakfast with so many delicious breakfast additions, which is a really good price Quality is excellent. This breakfast must be tried My opinion is that if you don't like sweet breakfast components alot, just ask the service to half the portions ( especially honey & jam ) Overall, it is one the best ( if not the best ) breakfast in uk.”

“I went to The Pied Bull with my girlfriend and her sister and parents and I couldn’t fault it one bit. I ordered the chicken burger with chips while my girlfriend had the steak pie which was cooked to perfection. Proper pub food for offer that were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, especially Daisy as she was our waitress throughout our time there. The whole place was really clean and cosy with classic 80’s and 90’s music that fit the vibe they’re going for. Great food and lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back again soon!”
