“Lovely place to have an authentic pizza…. The ingredients are so fresh. This place not only serves pizza you can buy salads, pasta and desserts. I’m I love with their wood fire pizza oven. You can pay with card or cash, they deliver to your door. The service was nice fast and polite.”

“Branded was very well decorated for the festive season. I placed the order to collect, the order was late by the estimated time by a few minutes but it was understandable as it was Christmas Eve. Love the steaks from branded, there is a noodle dish that is very nice and my personal favourite — surf and turf. Food was still warm when I got home — great choice for dinner. My fillet was perfectly medium rare. The sauces are very nice too, not too rich.”

“What an amazing dining experience! Even with the restaurant bustling with large groups, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Oleh took excellent care of our table! Nice selection of drinks to choose from. The food arrived steaming hot. We started with Garlic Bread and Roasted Aubergine ‘Meatballs,’ which complemented each other beautifully. The Vegan Rainbow Lasagne was absolutely divine, boasting a rich sauce and bursting with flavour. It truly excelled in both taste and presentation! The Vegan Lentil Ragu was bursting with flavour and very tasty! For dessert, we enjoyed the Raspberry Collins Cheesecake and Strawberry Sorbet, both of which were vegan delights.”

“We have just returned from lunch at Giacomos which is one of our favourite restaurants. They always serve excellent meals with good service and today was no exception. We had a three course delicious meal with wine and coffee which was served promptly and competitively priced. We’ll be back!”

“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”

“We recently dined at Hilal and had it was exceptional experience from start to finish. The meal began with a delightful selection of appetizers, which included a variety of traditional Turkish mezes. Each dish was bursting with flavor and showcased the rich culinary heritage of Turkey. For the main course, I opted for the lamb meat, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lamb was tender, juicy. It was served with a side of fluffy rice and salad, complementing the meat beautifully. To cap off the meal, we were treated to a small selection of thank you sweets. These little confections were a sweet and thoughtful end to a fantastic meal, highlighting the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, Hilal offers an authentic and memorable dining experience. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended!”

“Came here for a Sunday lunch today. The service from all staff was attentive and the girls were lovely to my two young children. I ordered the butternut squash roast which was a great veggie option and my kids both had the small roast chickens which they enjoyed. Overall the service and food was great and I would recommend”

“We came as a family of 5 plus a medium dog, all different generations, for a pre Christmas meal and it was exceptional. I have worked in hospitality for a decade and I can't understand why this doesn't have a higher review score. The food was the best I've had in a pub in years, the service was so personal and attentive without being imposing. We had a few dietary requirements that were accommodated with no bother at all. The atmosphere was lovely and overall we are just so thrilled to have such a wonderful pub in the village. The new management have really created such a cosy, welcoming vibe with really high standards of food and service. Thank you - highly recommend.”
