“Thank you Winter Bear for beautifully restoring a vintage chest of drawers. Sofie and Will helped with identifying good deals on ebay. Their communication has been fantastic throughout. They also created a colour board so that I could choose the perfect colour. The job took about 2 to 3 weeks which involved painting and changing handles. I will definitely be asking Winter Bear to help with any future projects.”

“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “We visited Flat Iron in London for a family lunch, and it was an absolutely lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm ,welcoming and perfect for a casual yet special meal. We tried the beef steak and the green chilli beef burger, and both dishes were delicious. The steak was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly as we ordered, with that signature Flat Iron flavour that never disappoints. The green chilli beef burger was a real highlight packed with bold, spicy flavours that added a nice kick without being overwhelming. A really nice touch was the complimentary freshly made popcorn served when we arrived, and the free vanilla ice cream cone at the end such a thoughtful way to round off the meal! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout. Service was quick, and the overall vibe was relaxed, which made it perfect for a family lunch. We’ll definitely be coming back, value for money..Highly recommend.”

“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Came across this lovely pub so clean. Ronnie the barmaid was very helpful and friendly. Lovely outside area and atmosphere. Even the toilets were very clean and nice. “The lovely pub hosted our daughter's 40th Birthday party in the side room off the main bar. We were able to decorate the room and also to have a local guitarist entertain us together with a fab face painter. Our party was able to order yummy food and drinks from the bar. “Hidden Gem In Putney I recently visited The Arab Boy and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere of the pub is cozy and welcoming, a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. I ordered the fish and chips, and it was simply divine – crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, just as it should be. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a pint of Guinness, which was perfectly poured and served cold. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that everything was to my liking. Whether you’re looking for a great spot to relax with friends or just want to enjoy some delicious British classics, The Arab Boy is the place to go. “Anthropologie is one of my wife’s favourite stores but she’s so busy that she tends to buy online & it’s my task, as her Man Friday, to go in-store to return or exchange items. It’s always a pleasure to visit their beautiful on curated stores & they do make returns exceptionally easy & the staff are always absolutely lovely & also helpful. I guess they take pity on me as an old man burdened with an unenviable task, but to tell you the truth I enjoy it (whilst pretending not to)!”

“I love this place! Hassan and Cecilia are great hosts, you are always greeted with a genuine and warm welcome, plenty of food options at reasonable prices. I just heard they will be giving up the business at the end of this week as the landlady is being difficult and will not renew their lease, she is turning the place into flats. All about greed! This will be a massive knock for the local community and I personally will miss coming here for my much, and of course Hassan and Cecilia will be sorely missed. Thanks for all the years!”

“Had good stay with Bell House. Kelvin was very helpful during check in and made some good suggestions for things to go out and explore. Note it’s a cheap hostel so it’s very minimalistic and the walls don’t keep any noise in or out.”
