“Mr Manic is a brilliant entertainer for both children and adults at his parties. We have used him at the Ashley coe school Christmas disco for several years now and he never fails to bring the house down. He tailors his sets to youngsters in infants as well as the older juniors and gets it just right. I’d highly recommend him for children’s parties. Equally I’ve attended several adult parties where he’s put on a great rave up.”

Staff very friendly and willing to help. And will literally go out of their way to accommodate if possible. Amazing service and food”

“Lovely new cafe on West Hendon Broadway. Bright, airy, spotlessly clean (I need to get the details of their cleaner!), nicely decorated and service with care and attention by the owner/manager. Reasonably priced food and drinks - the chai tea is very nice - made from powder not syrup. Fast WiFi and comfortable seating. Will definitely be back.”

“**Perfect in Every Way!** Ciccio’s is simply amazing! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite full of fresh ingredients and rich flavors. I had mortadella focaccia and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The service was impeccable, with staff who genuinely care about making your experience special. And the dessert? Incredible! If you go, don’t miss pistaccio cannoli Everything about this place is perfect. “Been buying beans for espresso here regularly for some months now and feel very grateful to have this roaster just a short drive from my home! Fantastic care for the quality of their beans and roasting process. They're always friendly when I go in and are more than happy to make up a custom (always recently roasted) batch of whatever blend it is I'm looking for if they don't already have it on their shelves. Nice little selection of coffee gear in stock there too which is a nice bonus.”

“Picked this venue for a coffee after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the modest entrance, the shop is a visual cornucopia of artistic delights. The drinks arrived in cute, hand painted cups and saucers, with small wooden spoons and the coffees adorned with coffee art. We sat and took in all the amazing decor which was for sale: cups, small serving dishes, bags, spoons, a menagerie of small crocheted animals with some in key ring form plus so much more. It was a feast for the eyes and brain to take in everything that was on display. The coffee was equally good and hope to try one of the cakes next time. An absolute joy for the senses and would highly recommend.”

“A special little neighbourhood coffee shop serving both local and Asian (HK & Japanese) food/beverage with promoting healthy eating & lifestyle in mind. Chatting with the owner and found out she is passionate in cooking and also specialising in different types of coaching relating to enhancing one's well being. We had a good chat! I like the environment and the energy of the shop. Highly recommend for someone who is looking for casual meal with high quality and well being advice!”

“Coming from Alberta, Canada, mourning the passing of my father this last February, I found solace and peace walking through both the East and West Cemeteries at Highgate. The atmosphere was serene and reflective—exactly what I needed during such a difficult time. After my walk, I stopped at the Colonnade Café, where I was warmly greeted and served what might honestly be the best latte I’ve ever had. The batista's warmth and excellent service, plus the roaming fox family, added to the whole experience that will leave a lasting impression. Thank you! I will most definitely be back for another visit.”

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

“Daniel’s Bake in Maida Vale is the kind of place that reminds you why great hospitality matters just as much as great food. From the moment I walked in, the staff set the tone—genuinely warm, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly proud of what they do. That welcome alone already elevated the experience. The food, however, is where Daniel’s Bake truly shines. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, with a clear focus on quality, balance, and flavour. Nothing felt rushed or careless; it was comfortingly indulgent yet refined, the sort of food that exceeds expectations rather than merely meeting them. What ties it all together is the atmosphere: relaxed, inviting, and quietly confident. It’s rare to find a place where the service, food, and overall experience align so seamlessly, but Daniel’s Bake manages it effortlessly. An outstanding visit from start to finish—this is a bakery worth going out of your way for, and one I’ll be returning to without hesitation.”

“We love Crespidia! We were so happy when it opened, and it's gone from strength to strength. The food is delicious, lovely drinks, cakes, sandwiches etc etc.. the merchandise is reasonably priced and it's really nice to have that to look at while we're sat chatting... and the flowers are also a beautiful bonus! To top it all off, the service is invariably wonderful and we are always made to feel welcome, as is Fergus (the sausage dog) :-) Go there as soon as possible! (I'm writing this while nibbling on a piece of delicious Crespidia sourdough)”

“Absolutely love the vibe this place gives. It's spacious, colour scheme is nice and the plants make the place look homely. Music was relaxing and the young man (Jake) who served me was ever so friendly. They have some outside seating too. The frappe was very nice and I'm very fussy about those. And the bread and the presentation was very good too. Plus they have half price offer for kids at the moment. I need to visit again!!!!!!! Heart ♥️”

“I called The Mobile Coffee Bean at 5:30pm one evening, hoping that they could perform a miracle, and provide a coffee bar for the next day. Somehow they pulled it off! Chris was really friendly and helpful and got everything in place that night. Kieran and Alex arrived on time the next day. They were super nice and got everything set up quickly. I know that none of this matters much if the coffee is terrible but of course it wasn’t. I picked a flat white, which I find a bit hit and miss, but it was lovely. It is very rare for me to write a review but this is thoroughly deserved.”

“Went to the bottomless pasta making class, and my gosh, had the best time, the hosts were so welcoming and friendly, everything was super clean, and the class itself was very informative but fun. Can't believe how easy pasta making is. Anyway it inspired me to make my own ravioli. Thank you so much, I will be highly recomending this class to all my friends and clients.”
