Filled with honest local folks ie delivery drivers, council workmen and labourers and all menu items are tasty and of good quality. Very friendly staff, very friendly chef / owner who makes sure a freshly ironed copy of The Sun is there each day. Very highly recommended as these good honest places are hard to come by nowadays.”

“Amazing staff and owner. They gave my mum water on a very hot day and then helped us locate a missing bag. Very prompt communication through the chat, and I could tell they really cared. My mum was so thankful coming here for water. The staff are amazing and very caring. Please make sure you pop by here after getting off the train. “Visited yesterday for the first time, we only live round the corner and had no idea it was here! Will definitely be a regular breakfast spot now. The breakfast was amazing, good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly and a good portion. My partner got my tea order wrong asking for milk in it, the girl behind the counter was happy to change it (thank you!) She was lovely, very polite and friendly. Lots of dog walkers passed by, seems a very dog friendly area which is nice, big park outside for running around. Overall a lovely little cafe. Parking was a little confusing, not sure if its because it looks like there is some rennovations being done next door the car park was closed off, but parked down the road and walked up, was only a minute away.”

“I have just visited Vims today and been asked to sign a petition. Regarding the amount the store is going to now have to pay to hillingdon council in rates, taxes. It has doubled and will be extremely challenging for them to meet this payment. I signed the petition willing. I have lived on Barnhill estate for nearly 20 years and this shop is a real old fashioned community shop. Through the lockdown they delivered to the elderly residents and became a lifeline for the community, they had toilet rolls, Pasta and kept the supplies for us all. Its a rare thing to find a store like this nowadays, and to have such exorbitant fees to pay is sucking the life out of our rich and diverse community if they fail to reach it. For years kids have gone into this store and had the privileged to be served by some of the the best customer service staff you could find. Knowing the customers by name, watching them grow in to adults, then bring their own children to this family friendly store. I find this news just another squeeze on law abiding hard working people to fund a miss managed council. I dont know what I can do on my own, I have signed the petition, without question. The council proudly positioned themselves on the the green at Ayles rd a few weeks ago , giving out sweets and face painting, tea and cakes is this what they need the extra money for ? Extracting from local businesses. We dont need tea from a cash strapped council , we need our local shop where we can buy our own tea and cake. This store is where we meet and catch up not just with staff but each other. We know what's going on with those around us and offer help and support. #saveVims #Saveourlocalshop @hillingdoncouncil”

Gobi manchurian was crispy and not drenched in sauce. Plenty of parking for a mid afternoon visit but I can imagine this place gets busy in the evenings. Good selection of beers on tap. After trying some of the city's top Indian restaurants, I was utterly impressed by the exceptional quality of the chole at this restaurant - it's comparable to the best I've had in Delhi! The owner's dedication to authenticity and customer service is evident, and I was even more impressed when they personally delivered my order to me after I accidentally opt for collection. Kudos for the outstanding food and genuine hospitality.”

“This review is long, long overdue. I first visited the UK back in 2012. I was sightseeing when I came across this cafe. This was my first full day in London, and my first meal in the city, and it was very good. Seriously, it was exactly what I needed. The young woman who served me was very nice and she could tell by my Canadian accent that I was visiting. Fast-forward to 2018. This was my third time in London, but my second time eating here, and it looked better than before, and the food was even better, too. And to top it off, the same young woman was still working there, and she remembered me. I'll be returning to London next month, and I'll definitely be having breakfast here again!”

“This is our new go to place for coffee and cakes in the evening especially on Saturdays. We tried chai latte and few other coffee or frappes , all were tasty. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. If it’s crowded, takes time to deliver but mostly quick service we got. They got drive through as well. Plenty of seating area and parking. You can sit as much as you want, and enjoy talking with friends and families. Worth visiting here.”
