“Sacred has incredible gins, vermouths, and bottled cocktails which truly express the delicate nature their botanicals through the vacuum distillation process. My favorites are the Cardamom and Coriander Gins (and bottled Negroni!) though all of their products are fantastic. The delicate complexities of the gins make them not only work as stand-alone sippers, but also as ways to level-up cocktail recipes. The same can be said for the vermouths, which are quite unique. Additionally, the shop is a fun experience in and of itself, offering a curated set of sought-after whisk(e)ys, mezcals, wines, liqueurs, and other cocktail ingredients. Don’t miss this place!”

Their recommendation of Puligny-Montrachet, Jacques Carillon 2020 hit the nail on the head when I was describing my love for Burgundy whites. “Fantastic concept. Essentially an artisan off-licence which also operates as a bar. It’s stylish, friendly, spacious and stocked with a great range of homemade bottled cocktails and home brand gins in different sizes. We bought a small bottle of the grapefruit gin and he served it with some Mediterranean Fevertree Tonic, garnished with a grapefruit slice. He also sells some locally sourced antipasti options which looked fabulous.”

“What an incredible find! If you're looking for genuine Italian food made with passion, this is the place. The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. The best part was seeing the owner in the kitchen, pouring his heart into the food. That passion is the secret ingredient. We're already planning our next visit!”

“The most incredible restaurant in London! Food is wonderful, incomparable to most restaurants, it is on another level. The wine again is just fabulous, mostly organic from vineyards that produce max 1,000 bottles. The staff have such a passion for the food/wine and are so knowledgeable. It is truly a wonderful experience to come here.”

“Amazing laid out store.. I came here mainly for their rum selection which is A-class featuring rums from the Caribbean, African (inc Mauritius), Europe (inc Madeira) and so much more! All spirits have their own section here and staff are always on hand to help and guide as needed. A must visit for any lover of spirits!”

“Lovely little place! I found them on Instagram and after seeing the daily cakes etc posted on there I had to check them out. I went on a Saturday morning, sat outside and had a lovely brunch (Eggs Benedict) and chatted to a couple of ladies outside whilst we all had coffee too. I then treated myself to an amazing cake that I took home for later! Service and food was great. I plan to go back tomorrow morning :)”

“The Barber who did my haircut it’s the best I ever met in all my life. I had a cut just for the back and the sides, usually it takes 20 minutes to do it but the barber took almost 45 minutes, you can think it’s too much but the result it’s amazing. The prices are affordable thinking about in the zone you are in. By the way I will definitely come there again and I think I will go just there. Good job guys!”

“I couldn’t recommend Tomoka Spirits Boutique more. Last week I was given a task by my boss to source a bottle of whiskey which I couldn’t find anywhere and he also wanted it for that night. I called Tomoka St Albans and they had a bottle in their London store. Juss drove it back from London and met me near to the venue my boss was having his event and I couldn’t be more grateful. “I had a wonderful lunch today at Doost & Amaci & Amichi, a delightful Persian-Italian restaurant with a unique and delicious fusion concept. I tried the Koobideh kebab with saffron rice, and it genuinely impressed me – incredibly tender, fresh, and packed with flavour. It tasted just like a homemade Persian kebab, full of authenticity and care. The outdoor courtyard seating was a lovely touch, offering a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the meal. What stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality, the team were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service was smooth and professional throughout.”

“What can I say about the east London liquor company that's not been said before, well it has to be said that it's a fantastic welcoming delicious tasty informative and thoroughly enjoyable place to visit. My wife bought me a gin tour for my birthday and we had a fantastic time due to the brilliant staff. If you don't like gin then they do tours for whiskey, rum and vodka. We will definitely be returning in the near future, I have my eye on a few bottles in their shop. All in all a must visit.”

“We stumbled upon this gem right after leaving the subway. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and chose a table near the entrance to soak in the city vibes. Our waiter—whose name I regret not catching—took excellent care of us! For an appetizer, we went with the pickled vegetables (highly recommend: yum!). My husband chose the lamb for dinner, while I leaned into the authentic Italian experience and ordered pasta. All I can say is: yum, yum, yum! My pasta was beyond delicious. I even joked with our waiter that it was “not good,” and he laughed and said, “I’ll let the chef know.” Then came the tiramisu… so good I had two servings and barely wanted to share. The cherry on top? Our waiter packed me a to-go serving, which absolutely made my night! Definitely recommend stopping by, it’s so worth it!”

“Local shop, good for picking up bits and pieces. You can play lotto and pay some bills here too. They have a small but relevant liquors section and other stuff too.. There's a cash machine that doesn't charge you in there as well, or you can pay by card on goods over the value of £5”

“Purchased the tropical gin which is my brother’s (and his girlfriend’s) favourite gin. We sat down and drank some of it to celebrate his birthday and I think this brand is becoming a favourite of mine as well. Would highly recommend. Will be trying the banana rum next.”

“I live next door to My Shop, unlike supermarkets where there is virtually no communication with customers, here there is, after a while they get to know their customers, and say, how are you. Their stock is considerable, they are open from seven in the morning till eleven p.m. It is a universal shop, regarding the staff, it is a shame that the world cannot be like this.”
