“What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”

“I had my first appointment at the Curly Club at Mint Salon with Michelle 3 days ago and I’m amazed at the results! Her expertise and experience with cutting and maintaining curls offer a wealth of knowledge during the appointment, and she knows exactly how to cut your hair to restore your curls to their natural bounce… and then some! My curls have gradually faded to a pretty non-descript wave over the years and I was desperate to stop fighting with hair straighteners and blow dryers and return to a natural look. In one session, my curls are looking so full and the frizz has almost completely gone already! I’ve had so many compliments and feel like a million dollars. Michelle and her team are all very friendly, the environment is relaxed and inviting and I walked away with the right products for my hair and great advice for how to look after them. And Olivia gives a superb head massage during the hair wash! Total convert and they have a customer for life!”

I only came in for a wet cut, but she took the time to talk through products with me, blow drying techniques and I ended up paying for a full cut and blow dry. We went here for my Mum's 93rd Birthday they could not have gone out of their way more to make the occasion special. The food is totally excellent and worth every penny. Jemima our waitress was brilliant. The hostess Annabel was the best we have ever seen. She was totally " on " everything that was happening in the whole restaurant. Josh the manager was empathetic and impressive. The venue is unbeatable. Choose this restaurant for the special things and the every day events and they will make everything special.”

“A recommended choice if you look for good food, often with a twist to keep it interesting. Highlight for us were the muscles, fish, pumpkin stuffed pasta, the very low alcohol beer and deserts. But I would trust the chef with anything. Everything was cooked on point. The staff was lovely and happy to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. We spend a bit more on drinks however the meal prices were entirely worth the price and reasonable. A real food highlight for the area and definitely the choice for bringing guests.
