“When I recently moved to Sutton I didn't have all my cooking things the first night so I came here for takeout - the food was delicious and portion size was excellent value for money. My partner moved in shortly after I did & one night got takeout from somewhere else, he was a little disappointed. I told him he should have gone here & the next time we wanted a takeout treat we came here & he loved it as much as I said he would. There's just my partner and myself so we wouldn't be able to eat a family meal between us but the family deals are extremely reasonably priced compared to other places. Each time everything was made fresh as you would expect so there was understandably a short wait but the service was very efficient - highly recommend!”

The food was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. The chef deserves special appreciation — every dish showed great attention to detail and a real passion for cooking. The food was served by Husneil .He was friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The place was clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal. The place is slightly smaller than Tooting branch, it's better to book a table. The menu is slightly different. We ordered okra and volcano chicken with egg fried rice. Excellent taste. I visited Bar + Block in Sutton and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jessie, who was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. Jessie anticipated our needs effortlessly and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. She knew the menu inside out and gave spot on recommendations. “I had their Spicy chicken sandwich, and my Mrs had Portobello mushroom & Brie cheese sandwiche, along with coffee. All of them were delicious, especially the Speciality coffee that I had, it has Irish cream, Kaluha coffee liquor. Previously I had cakes as takeaway from them, they were also delicious. Seating and ambience is very comforting and cozy. My wife loves this cafe . Owner and staff are very warm and polite. I'll highly recommend anyone who visits Sutton.”

The staff are very friendly and accommodating too. I would definitely recommend booking in advance because it gets very busy due to its popularity!”

“Different from a typical High Street kebab takeaway but all the better for that difference - dropped one star on service but only because they were absurdly busy which is a sign of their popularity, which in turn is a reflection of their quality. Beautifully marinated and cooked chicken shish, oven roasted, best pita bread I've ever had and great selection of salad and sauces - plus what I can only describe as the best roast chips I've ever had. £11.35 for large chicken shish in pita. Will be returning without doubt. Kind of hard to mark a takeaway on 'atmosphere' - it was fine for the 15 minutes I was sat waiting!”

“A last minute booking to take my father out for lunch. I hadn’t been here before , and my father had mixed reviews but I thought the menu looked good. I dont know why it would have mixed reviews, the staff and food were faultless. We were welcomed warmly and seated comfortably by the window. We were attended to quickly through our visit, but never rushed. Between 3 of us we had Bruschetta, Calamari and Gamberoni to start. Followed by Pesce Spada alla Sicilian (2), and Spiedini di Pesce and finished with a cheesecake , affogato and an Espresso. My favourite dishes were the Gamberoni which was a generous portion of prawns bathing in a garlicky butter and spinach sauce, and Pesce Spada , a large piece of swordfish smothered in a rich tomato, olive and caper berry sauce with a fresh and zesty side salad.
