“There are several other carpet shops in the vicinity and I browsed and got quotes off them all. I decided to go with Famous because the underlay and carpet held in stock was a much higher quality- and even with fitting labor on top- the total quote was a LOT cheaper than the others. They also went out of their way to measure and fit asap at very short notice, had a great selection to choose from and were helpful, patient and professional throughout. The fitting was carried out the next day and to a very high standard, old carpet taken away and all mess cleaned up straight away and the result has literally transformed the flat. So pleased I've now recommended them to friends and family. GOOGLE PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When I came to write this review, the business was erroneously listed as 'Permanently Closed' - Perhaps Famous Carpets has a few disgruntled nearby competitors that can't compete with the standard of service, integrity and price offered here...”

“My parents gifted me the AMC cookware set recently and at first I did not know what to make of it because it seemed like any other premium cookware brand with a luxury finish and feel. I wasn't expecting much difference in performance or it's claims about it's one of a kind technology. After having made a few different recipes in it, I can say with certainty that I was so wrong face having judged it by it's aesthetics alone. First of all, it's not like anything I have ever experienced as just the cooking time alone, blew my mind. I prepared unsoaked lentils and chickpeas in it which take ages to soften in an ordinary pressure cookers. The AMC does it in barely 10 minutes on turbo setting. Rice and soften lentils take barely 3 minutes to cook with hardly any water added. It was hard to believe what I was witnessing because it felt almost like magic. It has reduced the time I spend in the kitchen considerably which is significant for women like me who have busy jobs and dislike making elaborate meals that take countless valuable hours of their life. All the vegetables are cooked through without any oil or water, which was unbelievable. I was sceptical, because I assumed that without oil the vegetables would stick to the bottom of the vessel and need extensive scrubbing to clean but this was not the case at all. The cookware is extremely easy to clean with just hot water and dishwasher safe. This cookware feels like an upgrade to my overall quality of life, as it's almost like having an automatic cooking appliance rather than ordinary pots and pans. It's definitely a worthy investment for any kitchen.”
